Central Cabarrus (20-0)
The Vikings have won 52 games in a row dating back to last season’s state title run as they continue to show off their dominance as a program. Joshua Dalton Joshua Dalton 6'9" | PF NC remains their biggest unsigned senior as Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6'5" | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC ., Carson Daniel Carson Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC and Chase Daniel Chase Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC have all found landing spots at the next level. They’re the easy favorite to win it all once again as they’re ranked No. 20 in the nation on MaxPreps.
Green Level (20-0)
The Gators have seemingly turned a corner with their junior core of Isaac Ericksen Isaac Ericksen 6'8" | SF Green Level | 2025 State NC and Israel Eatman Israel Eatman 6'4" | CG Green Level | 2025 State NC leading the way with unsigned senior Leon Tye Cain III Leon Tye Cain III 5'10" | PG Green Level | 2024 State NC as well. They overcame a big deficit on the road against Panther Creek and outscored them 11-2 down the stretch to secure a 61-57 victory. They’ve got Holly Springs on Tuesday and Green Hope on the road this Friday.
Hickory (20-0)
The Red Tornadoes continue to be a force in the 3A Western Foothills Conference following an 81-61 victory over St. Stephen’s this past Friday. They’ve got a tough North Iredell squad on the road on Tuesday followed by West Iredell on Friday. John Holbrook John Holbrook 6'8" | PF Hickory | 2024 State NC , Izaiah Littlejohn Izaiah Littlejohn 6'5" | SF Hickory | 2024 State NC and Jamien Little Jamien Little 6'1" | SG Hickory | 2025 State NC have this squad playing some of it’s best basketball heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
New Hanover (20-0)
CJ Kornegay CJ Kornegay 6'5" | SF New Hanover | 2025 State NC may be lost for the season but it’s just empowered Nolan Billings Nolan Billings 6'5" | PF New Hanover | 2025 State NC to step up even more alongside Rodmik Allen Rodmik Allen 5'10" | PG New Hanover | 2025 State NC . Billings put up a season-high 22 points on 9/9 FG in a victory over Kinston back on Jan. 27. Allen is dishing out a team-high 5.3 assists per game while pouring in 17.2 PPG on the scoring front. He’s a junior guard for college programs in the state to get to know.
Reidsville (17-0)
One home game and two road games for the Rams this week as they’ll face West Stokes before traveling to Dudley and McMichael. Dionte Neal Dionte Neal 5'10" | PG Reidsville | 2026 State NC and Kendre Harrison Kendre Harrison 6'8" | C Reidsville | 2026 State NC remain an unstoppable force on the NCHSAA 2A stage while Johnniyus Sharpe Johnniyus Sharpe 6'2" | CG Reidsville | 2025 State NC and others have stepped in nicely to fill the void where needed. They’ll be tough to beat come playoff time with wins under their belt already against Farmville Central and Northwood High.
