Let's take a look at who are the favorites. in each of these 4 classifications and we will pick the 4 favorites regardless of record.

6A

Corner Canyon

Layton

Lehi

American Fork

Size and scoring among these 4 teams. Layton has three of the best guards in the Class of 2024 all on the same team and they are starting to click and spread the love. [player_tooltip player_id='1057044' first='David' last='Katoa'] really changes things but Mekhi martin is having a fantastic year. [player_tooltip player_id='1057041' first='KJ' last='Miller'] is shooting lights out. Even if undersized they can hang with anyone.

Lehi might not have a lot of size but they play hard, they play the right way and they can score. Copper Lewis is having a phenominal year. [player_tooltip player_id='1164729' first='Easton' last='Hawkins'] is taking his game to the next level and they just have guards that can shoot and score. They will be a tough out and when they are on, they can beat anyone.

AF looks like they are getting healthy and if [player_tooltip player_id='1115954' first='Reece' last='Dent'] is at full health it gives this team one more weapon that [player_tooltip player_id='1057050' first='Tiger' last='Cuff'] can go to. [player_tooltip player_id='1538434' first='Blake' last='Rawson'] is a beast in the paint and he can defend. If they can get [player_tooltip player_id='1057025' first='Diego' last='Mulford'] going and continue to get big plays from Jared Shepherd, this team is scary.

The scariest team right now is Corner Canyon. Kozlowski is back. [player_tooltip player_id='1877115' first='Taylor' last='Feroah'] is playing well and [player_tooltip player_id='1190621' first='Noah' last='Bendinger'] seems to continue to gain strength and momentum. The two big difference makers have been [player_tooltip player_id='1190620' first='Bryton' last='Valdes'] and Derelle Desire. Bryton a true PG that gets the ball to all teammates and he can score and shoot if he needs to.

5A

Alta

Olympus

Orem

Highland

Highland is a sleeping GIANT. they have the horses to beat anyone, they just need to find the right combinations. [player_tooltip player_id='1278450' first='Isaiah' last='Drisdom'] is really talented. [player_tooltip player_id='1551411' first='George' last='McConkie'] could be a force if he finishes all the bunnies. [player_tooltip player_id='1066745' first='Sefa' last='Brown'] is a super athlete. The list goes on and on.

Orem is getting a lot more out of [player_tooltip player_id='1164726' first='Jax' last='Allen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1260479' first='Chance' last='Dastrup'] is one of the most underrated PG's in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1278444' first='Kai' last='Wesley'] is turning the corner and if [player_tooltip player_id='2045987' first='Tate' last='Robinson'] can get lose this team is scary too.

Olympus is that team that learns and figures things out. They adjust better than most. You can never count out [player_tooltip player_id='1057020' first='Jordan' last='Barnes'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1057034' first='Dutch' last='Dowdell']. They are starting to get ore production from other players as well.

Alta is a machine and the crazy part is that they have not peaked yet. [player_tooltip player_id='1298532' first='Jaxon' last='Johnson'] continues to build his resume for Mr. Basketball. [player_tooltip player_id='1057035' first='Ace' last='Reiser'] continues to prove he belongs on a D1 roster. This team is the #1 team in the state.

4A

Dixie

Layton Christian

Provo

Cottonwood/Murray

Dixie is he team to beat but there are a lot of teams picking up steam. [player_tooltip player_id='1185179' first='Kyle' last='Lemke'] will not be stopped and if Dixie's guards shoot the ball well they will raise that UHSAA Trophy at the end of the day.

Cottonwood and Murray might be the most dangerous teams in the class. Murray has guards that never end and they can all score. [player_tooltip player_id='1115933' first='Quinton' last='Christman'] is very underrated and he can hoop. On the flip side you have chris Cox as he might be the best 3 man in the state and if they can figure out how to get stops against some of the better teams they have a shot.

Provo has two dudes that can play with anyone. [player_tooltip player_id='1115971' first='Aaron' last='Castagnetto'] has been elite. Provo went into LCA and came out with a win. If they keep their level of play high they could make a run.

LCA has the pieces and [player_tooltip player_id='1575685' first='Tyrin' last='Jones'] one of the fastest rising wings in the country. He is the difference maker on this team.

3A

South Summit

Ogden

Manti

Richfield
