Continue ReadingAkai Fleming Akai Fleming 6’4″ | SG Osborne | 2025 State #44 Nation GA is the #1 guard in the 2025 class and for good reason. Fleming is a true three-level scorer with a number of pro moves in his bag. He can shoot it from all over the floor and does so well off the dribble. Defensively, he’s long and has quick feet which make it difficult for opposing guards to get anything off. Currently holds offers from LSU, Georgia, Alabama, and others.
JR Leonard JR Leonard 6’5″ | SG Riverwood | 2025 State #78 Nation GA is one of the best volume scorers in this class and he can get it done in a number of ways. Leonard is a big body guard that uses his frame well when getting to the rim. He excels in the mid-range, one of the more consistent pull-up jumpers you’ll find. Leonard has the size and length to be a great defender at the next level too. His offer list currently includes Tennessee, Georgia, Wake Forest, and a few others.
Kiwane Garris Kiwane Garris 6’3″ | CG Mt. Vernon | 2025 State GA has been steadily moving up our 2025 board over the past year and the recent move to Mt. Vernon brings more attention his way as he’s been a major contributor for one of the top programs in the state. Garris isn’t incredibly quick or twitchy but he’s one of the better shotmakers across the state, rarely affected by contesting hands. He uses his broad frame extremely well when shielding off defenders on his way to the cup. Expect Garris to attract plenty of college coaches in the spring.
Highlights
Maki Joyner Maki Joyner 6’5″ | SG Savannah | 2025 State #376 Nation GA could very well be the top prospect coming out of Savannah right now. The 6’5 shooting guard is so smooth with the rock and can score in a variety of ways. He loves to get downhill and find his way to the rim where he’s such a skilled finisher. Earlier this week, Joyner posted 31 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Hilton Head. Currently holds offers from Kennesaw State and East Carolina.
Rashund Washington Rashund Washington 6’4″ | SG East Laurens | 2025 State GA is a name that we don’t talk about enough, mainly because he plays out in Dublin. He sprung onto the scene with Team Scoot this spring and proved that he’s one of the top prospects in this class. Washington is a swiss army knife on the wing. He can defend multiple positions at a high level, rebounds extremely well for a guard, and can fill up the scoresheet. He’s a legitimate contender for Player of the Year in 1A-D1.
