can. He’s a variety scorer that can hit shots from all over the floor, get to the bucket using his strength, and play above the rim in transition. With Karris Bilal off to Vanderbilt, I expect Leonard to post some crazy numbers as a senior. Leonard will draw plenty of attention during the summer live periods and should continue to add to his list of high-major offers.

Leonard had some historic performances throughout the high school season, none bigger than his 51-point game in the Sweet 16. He’s a 3-level scorer that’s strong around the cup and excels in the mid-range. Leonard currently holds 7 offers including Tennessee, Mississippi State, and Georgia.

‘s ability to force the issue downhill saved Riverwood, helping them stay afloat after trailing 12-1 and eventually getting their footing and stunning the defending champs in overtime, 67-63. Leonard went 9-10 from the foul line in the first quarter alone as the Raiders fell behind 20-11. The big guard finished with 31 points and 5 rebounds, shooting 19-23 from the charity stripe. Aside from his scoring, Leonard did a great job battling

is one of the best volume scorers in this class and he can get it done in a number of ways. Leonard is a big body guard that uses his frame well when getting to the rim. He excels in the mid-range, one of the more consistent pull-up jumpers you’ll find. Leonard has the size and length to be a great defender at the next level too. His offer list currently includes Tennessee, Georgia, Wake Forest, and a few others.

pretty well. Leonard’s scoring package is so well-versed but it was the jumper that provided most of his points on Saturday. He connected on multiple three-pointers and a couple of pull-up jumpers as well. Look out for Riverwood’s backcourt this year as they have the firepower to hang with some of the state’s best.

Best believe there will be plenty of eyes on Riverwood this year as they land two players on this list and look to finally get over the hump. Leonard has matured significantly over the past year, both physically and mentally. His combination of size, skill, and athleticism is a handful in itself and we haven’t even gotten to the well-versed scoring repertoire. He’s an excellent finisher at the rim, embracing contact and maintaing focus like a pro. Leomard can knock down the three-ball and has the pull-up in his bag as well. His recruitment has taken off in recent months, picking up offers from Tennessee, Georgia, Wake Forest, and a few others.

Up from No. 12: JR Leonard has blown up this offseason, racking up offers from Georgia, Kennesaw State and USF. Leonard has emerged as one of the state’s best scorers. JR has a strong frame on the perimeter which he uses to punish opponents downhill, but it is his jumper that is his best weapon. Jalen coolly rises and fires off the dribble from the mid-range and three-point line and hardly looks to be bothered by the defense.

JR Leonard stirred up a ton of buzz during the June live periods and should continue adding offers to his list this month. He’s a bully of a 2-guard, size and length that give him an advantage over most. Leonard can score in bunches, both around the paint and from beyond the arc. Recently received offers from Georgia, South Florida, and Kennesaw State.

Impressive shot maker with a smooth game. Has good size on the perimeter with a sturdy frame. Changes speeds well and uses his body when attacking the basket. Uses a quick crossover to get into rhythm with his jumper. Plays at his own pace when probing the defense. Has a push floater inside. Plays off two feet. Absorbs contact on drives. Posted 19 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals in a 60-42 win over South Paulding. South Florida offered last week.
