is a very hot name on the recruiting trail right now after several strong showings in June and July. Washington led his Southern Kings squad to the Prelude League Championship and went for 30 in the semifinal game. He picked up his second D1 offer from UNC-Asheville shortly after that game. Washington is a big, rangy guard that plays above the rim and makes an impact on both ends of the floor. He finds his points in a variety of different ways, whether that be attacking from the perimeter, crashing the glass for second chance opportunities, or knocking down spot-up shots on the perimeter. UIC and UNC-Asheville were the first to offer but I imagine more schools will be jumping on board soon.

has flown under the radar for much of his high school career but he’s taken off this spring, emerging as one of the premier talents in The Prelude League. Washington is a do-it-all wing with a high motor and some freaky physical tools. Whether it be running the point or battling with bigs inside, we’ve seen Washington play just about every role. Washington has all the makings of a D1 wing and his recruitment should take off sooner than later.

had a breakout summer and looks destined to be a hot name this spring. He has great size and athleticism to go with a motor that goes baseline to baseline. Washington is most dangerous in a fast-paced game where he can play above the rim and attack in the open floor. LM-MM schools in the southeast need to have

is a name that we don’t talk about enough, mainly because he plays out in Dublin. He sprung onto the scene with Team Scoot this spring and proved that he’s one of the top prospects in this class. Washington is a swiss army knife on the wing. He can defend multiple positions at a high level, rebounds extremely well for a guard, and can fill up the scoresheet. He’s a legitimate contender for Player of the Year in 1A-D1.

was once considered a sleeper down in middle Georgia, a talent like him can only fly under the radar for so long. Washington can do it all, score, rebound, pass, whatever it takes to win. He’s a freak athlete that loves to play above the rim and shines in a fast-paced game. I’d categorize him as a slashing guard but there’s really no box you can put him in. Washington is the best prospect to come out of Dublin in years and college coaches should be flocking to East Laurens to see him.

Keep an eye on the wiry guard. He can play 1-3 and is adept at hitting the roller in high ball screens. Washington’s wingspan and athleticism give him major value on defense. He is a triple-double threat at the high school level.
