One of the more talented pure scorers from this spring and summer in Indiana’s Class of 2027, Burks will have a chance to carve out a role as a sophomore for the Kokomo Wildkats. The 6’1″ guard can get hot from beyond the arc, does a good job of creating separation to get his own shot, and has enough downhill burst to go finish at the rim. Definitely one to watch from the current Watch List and a name that could eventually play his way into the rankings as they continue to expand.

Burks went for 32 points in his first contest and backed it up with 27 points in his second game of the day finishing an incredible 12-16 from three-point range. He can flat out shoot the basketball and is proving to be an underrated playmaker in the freshman class.

Another guard in this class that is very capable of playing either spot in the backcourt, Burks is an electric scorer that showed his skill throughout the summer and then again at the Metro Indy Fall League. He is a great athlete, explosive on his way to the basket, and more than capable of scoring it from beyond the arc.
