Kokomo has gotten off to a 3-0 start under new head coach Drew Schauss this season. The Wildkats have no shortage of offensive weapons and have leaned on different guys each time out. He is averaging 10.0 points per game and shooting 8-23 (34.8%) from three-point range.

This 6’1″ guard stepped into the Kokomo rotation this season and played a vital role for the Wildkats. His aggressiveness on the offensive end led him into a “microwave scoring” type of role as he averaged 5.5 points per game while shooting an impressive 40-108 (37.0%) from three-point range.

One of the more talented pure scorers from this spring and summer in Indiana’s Class of 2027, Burks will have a chance to carve out a role as a sophomore for the Kokomo Wildkats. The 6’1″ guard can get hot from beyond the arc, does a good job of creating separation to get his own shot, and has enough downhill burst to go finish at the rim. Definitely one to watch from the current Watch List and a name that could eventually play his way into the rankings as they continue to expand.
