This left-handed forward really broke out late in the summer with Indiana Game on the UA Rise Circuit. His skill level at 6’7″ is very intriguing for college coaches across all levels. He can stretch the floor beyond the arc, has some natural passing ability, and uses his size to finish over his right shoulder in the paint. Look for Wagner to have a big junior season for Valparaiso. He moved up several spots in our rankings to #31 in this update.

Admittedly, Wagner was barely on our radar at alll a couple of months ago. However, after attending UA Rise Session I in Hamilton, Ohio and watching him play with Indiana Game we knew we would have to quickly move him up into our. Class of 2027 prospect rankings. We’ve seen him as recently as Tuesday night at the Chesterton Summer League as well where he once again looked great against some of the best prospects in The Region. The 6’7″ left-handed forward has a well-rounded skill set that includes the ability to face-up and stretch the floor out to the perimeter. Wagner has jumped from the Watch List to #43 overall in the Class of 2027.

From an Indiana persecutive, nobody did more to improve their stock over the weekend than this 6’7″ forward from Valparaiso High School. Wagner starred for Indiana Game 16u putting up 22 points in a win and posting a couple of other excellent performances including a 14-point first half against Middlesex Magic. The left-handed forward can stretch the floor, score inside, rebound, and defend. He genuinely showed it all while playing against primarily UAA-level competition.
