One of the top prospects in the state that I had a chance to get eyes on over the weekend was DJ Nash DJ Nash 6'4" | SF Kokomo | 2028 State IN out of Kokomo HS. Nash is running with Indy Heat 16U and was one of their better players off the bench. He is a smooth guard/wing that plays at a great pace and never gets sped up. Is a smooth three-pointer shooter, as well.

Nash was a big part of Kokomo’s strong first half, but was neutralized a bit in the second half by Lawrence North’s zone defense. The athletic 6’3″ wing still finished with 14 points and 8 rebounds, but the Wildkats lost 53-42. He has had an excellent sophomore season so far for Kokomo and remains one of the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2028.
