When it comes down to pure production, not many guys got it done better than Drey Jones Drey Jones 6'0" | PG Kokomo | 2030 IN out of Kokomo. He’s a physical wing/forward with good feel that simply made winning plays all camp long. Was really good getting downhill and finishing around the basket and had intriguing playmaking ability with an unselfish mindset.

One of the first standouts of the day was this 6’0″ guard from Kokomo High School. Jones is built like a Division I football player as a freshman in high school. During 3-on-3 play he simply bullied defenders off of the bounce and used his physicality to finish around the rim. However, he also has a smooth jump shot and made some threes on the day as well. His combination of skill and strength is unique for such a young guard. Look for him to have a great career for the Wildkats and be a name to know in this Class of 2030.

Jones has already established himself as a great athlete and explosive driver off of the dribble in Indiana’s Class of 2030. He cracked the varsity lineup for Kokomo High School at the Charlie Hughes Showcase and could gain some experience this year. The 6’0″ point guard is ultra quick and changes speed well in the half court in order to get paint touches and attack the rim. We are happy to have him registered for the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.

Jones will likely be a varsity player as a freshman for Kokomo High School. He was the one incoming freshman included on their Charlie Hughes Showcase roster and got some run for the Wildkats throughout June. His physicality and athleticism should allow him to translate to the varsity level pretty smoothly. We are excited to have him registered for the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.
