I’ve been part of the Nolan Coffman fan club for many years now and Coffman is going to end up at the D1 level. He recently got offers from Mercer and Little Rock and has plenty of offers. Nolan plays hard and offers versatility across multiple spots on defense.

Nolan Coffman Nolan Coffman 6'6" | SF/PF Lyon County | 2027 State KY averaged 17.8 points per game last season while shooting 56.2% from the field, knocking down 59 3 pointers at a 41.5% clip and nearly averaging a double double. Coffman most recently picked up an offer from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, adding to an offer from the University of North Alabama in July. His summer also included a spot on the Kentucky Junior All-Star team as one of the top players in the Class of 2027. Coffman has a well rounded game that allows him to contribute in several areas. He has the ability to fill multiple statistical categories on any given night.

Coffman is one of the most consistent players in this class. You can count on Nolan to play really hard and make winning plays. He’s earned multiple D1 offers over the past two years and should sign at the D1 level when the time comes.

One of my favorite players in the class due to his motor, Coffman has multiple D1 options to choose from already.

Prediction: UT Martin. I would not be at all surprised to see Nolan end up somewhere that hasn’t offered him yet. He could have a strong July.

Nolan doubled down on why he’s one of Kentucky’s top 2027 prospects this past weekend. Now more so than ever, he’s tasked with doing a lot of everything for the Lyons. With the loss of significant pieces from last season to graduation, Nolan must carry a heavy load for his team to compete, but he appears to be up to the challenge. He started off hot at the KABC event, finishing only 1 rebound shy of a triple double in his first matchup. His 28pt & 9reb explosion versus Bellbrook is also worth noting.

Coffman has been a stock riser this spring, being mentioned as a breakout prospect from the UAA circuit with Stars Basketball Club out of Nashville. Coffman is an impressive floor spacer from the wing forward position who got hot from the outside on Saturday morning against Bellbrook in a competitive game. Coffman has to do a lot of the creating for his team and every time he got the ball inside the arc he was seeing two or three defenders at a time. Holding a handful of Division I offers, Coffman has some options if he wants to make a fall commitment.

A Top 10 prospect in Kentucky’s Class of 2027, Coffman turned in an excellent individual performance to lead Stars Basketball 17u to an impressive win over Atlanta Xpress on Sunday at UAA Session II. The versatile 6’6″ wing scored 14 points primarily by attacking closeouts off of the dribble and using his combination of athleticism and strength to finish at the end of his drives. That versatility makes him a very intriguing prospect to follow heading into the summer.

Stars Basketball Club looked dominant in the first half before holding on to a nice win over a talented MHC team to end the night. Coffman was the most physical player I watched all night long as he corralled some rebounds with strong hands over two or three defenders at a time. Coffman also lowered his shoulder to either score or get to the foul line when he was able to attack going to his preferred right hand. Nolan is one of my favorite prospects in this class because he plays super hard and does a ton of things that impact winning. Coffman has several D1 offers to choose from already but could make the jump to being a mid major to high major recruit with a big summer on the AAU circuit. Likely to be a big wing or undersized 4 man in college, Nolan could see his stock really take off if he makes a high percentage of threes this summer.

The newest member to the 1,000 point club in Kentucky, Coffman went over the milestone in the fourth quarter of Lyon County’s win over Mayfield. A team that has consistently found success at the All A tournament, Lyon County brought a heavy traveling fan section on Thursday. Lyon County did a nice job of beating traps with passes as Coffman has the size to read over the defenses stretched arms. With the 1-2 punch of Coffman and Bray Kirk Bray Kirk 6'2" | SG/PG Lyon County | 2026 State KY , Lyon County has a chance to win another All A title this year.
