GameChangers: MOP and Top Performers from the Freshman Showcase

At the end of the day, it was [player_tooltip player_id='1745586' first='Caleb' last='Rimmer'] that left the most lasting impression on me. Rimmer plays super hard and doesn't take plays off and that may be what separated him from other top performers. Caleb was able to score inside and out and often bullied defenders off the dribble and in the post. He is a good two handed rebounder and above average shot blocker. Brandon was lightning quick in transition and never seemed to get tired. He was also one of the few kids who actually put an emphasis on his on ball defense, often making opposing guards give up the ball so he'd stop hounding them. He was consistent all day long and never forced his offense. Holman showed he can play point or shooting guard and cuts through open space without the ball, always working to get open. Nolan is a little stiff but that could be because he's growing. If he's not growing, he's going to need some yoga and plyometrics to get more fluid athletically and show he can guard. He's got the offensive tools to be an impact player and should improve as a defender as time rolls along.
