Mike has stepped up with new opportunities due to departing 2024s and injuries, posting 22 points and 4.3 assists through his first three games. An especially quick name in the open court, he gets up and down the floor with a speed unlike many in this 2025 class. Adept rising up above the defense around the rim, he looks to draw contact when able, drawing nearly 10 free throws per game so far. If he keeps up the current efficiency across the board, Mike could rise even more in time. 

Given a couple former graduates and unfortunate injuries to the Palmer roster, Mike will likely have a significant offensive role for this program. At his best while attacking downhill, opponents have trouble staying in front of the guard, given his quick first step. Steadily refining the handle and jump shot through the past few months, Mike has worked to round out his perimeter game. The guard put up 12.4 points and 2.3 assists per game this past season at Palmer high school.

Mike is primed for a big role with Palmer, given the improvements to his jumper alongside the prior two-way value along the perimeter. A particularly valuable help side and point of attack defender, his ability to create steals for transition opportunities is about as effective as anyone in this 2025 class. What changes for him this season will be the offensive opportunities, set to be a crucial shotmaker for this group. Appearing to gain more strength over the past few months, he has had no trouble battling with bigger opponents. 

Mike has continued to improve his perimeter shooting abilities, continuing to round out his offensive game. Already among the best perimeter defenders in this class, his offensive improvements have taken major strides, both in skill and athleticism. Primed for a huge year with Palmer, his growth in opportunity will be fascinating to follow as the roles shift yet again. 

Mike is one stock riser whose two-way dominance has paved the way to 7070’s success of late. An athletic above the rim finisher when given space, the guard has continued to build upon his already high floor as an athletic guard. Drawing numerous fouls around the rim, the guard has become quicker and stronger through contact. 

There is no doubt that Mike has been one of the best perimeter defenders in this class for quite some time, however his improvements in shot mechanics have opened up the rest of his game of late. Contributing pull-ups within the mid-range to a higher degree, he has a newfound confidence in his jumper, repeatedly getting the job done with Palmer. Mike is primed for a big year at Palmer, particularly if the shotmaking confidence follows him into the winter months.
