George remains a top prospect on the board in the 2024 class at the point guard spot as he makes a move to Winston-Salem Christian in 2022-23. He’s the No. 2 prospect in the 2024 class for a reason given his court vision and ability to win games. He’s due for a strong senior season on the national stage with offers from Radford, High Point, East Carolina. Wake Forest among others.
Zion Walker Zion Walker 6'2" | PG The Burlington School | 2024 State NC – The Burlington School
The Burlington School is under a new regime under head coach George Mashall, but the goal remains the same as Walker remains in the rotation after winning two-straight NCISAA state crowns. Walker is a big guard that plays a fearless, physical brand of basketball that’s contagious for teammates to play with. He’s got offers from Kent State, Radford, East Carolina and a few other mid-major programs.
Jucqarie Love Jucqarie Love 6'5" | PF Southern Guilford | 2024 State NC – Southern Guilford High
Love is learning to be a lot more aggressive with his athleticism and ability to get downhill and finish on the rim. He’s a 6-foot-4 wing that’s slowly finding his way as a leader for this Southern Guilford group. He’s due for a strong junior season with another top 2024 name on his team by his side in Jamias Ferere Jamias Ferere 6'5" | SF Southern Guilford | 2024 State NC .
Jaylen Wilkerson Jaylen Wilkerson 6'0" | CG Walkertown | 2024 State NC – Walkertown High
Wilkerson is set to lead Walkertown High in a big way after a solid sophomore campaign in 2021-22. He returns as the second-leading scorer and third-leading playmaker from a season ago after putting up 15.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg and 1.9 apg this past year. He’s ready to turn a corner in 2022-23 in the backcourt with his ability to knock down shots and make things happen on the floor.
Bobby Cannon Jr Bobby Cannon Jr 6'10" | PF Forsyth Country Day | 2024 State NC . – Quality Education Academy
Cannon is an emerging prospect in the 2024 class that’s poised for a productive high school season after a productive grassroots campaign. At 6-foot-9, the big man looks ready to turn a corner under the Quality Education Academy leadership. He’s got some solid guards around him that can get him the ball and looks ready to anchor a strong junior season for the Pharaohs in 2022-23.
