35↑32 Simmons is one of the top physical specimens in the class. The long armed, forward has a good upper frame. He brings effort and a ton of energy to Mojave, culminating with a 3 spot jump for him.

The last thing the state needs if for the Rattlers to get another athletic big.

The wing with a good frame, could be ready to be a major contributor as the Rattlers move up to 5A.

46↑38 Prospect that could continue rising up the list. He has long arms and a solid frame. He saved his best game for last, scoring 12 points in the Championship game to help the Rattlers take home the crown.

This game felt like a coming out party for Simmons. The sophomore foward has swung between JV and Varisty throughout the season, but proved his worth in the biggest game of the season. His willingness to compete for boards, and throw his body around was huge. He carved out 10 tough points for the team, with his frame, and new found confidence, I could see him having a breakout Spring and Summer.

This may be Simmons last time appearing on our back gym list. The sophomore has all the physical tools to be a productive player on the varsity level. He possess long arms, and a strong upper frame. He even flashed some ball skills, using some COD’s during the JV game I saw.

Simmons has been good for the state champs. His size and athleticism has provided depth to the team. He’s been at his best when he’s defending and scoring in transition. His best game to date has been a 9 point 4 rebound performance against Legacy.

53↑46 Simmons is a player that the Mojave faithful is high on. He has good size and moves well, allowing him to be a factor on both ends of the floor. Good finisher, who can defend multiple positions in the Rattlers full court pressure defense.

As if the rich needed to get richer, Simmons is another talented athlete for the team. He has the strength to help in the interor, but like many of the players he’ll be a force defending in the Rattlers full court press.
