BallerTv was used for out of state games, and it was our most coveted summer. Let’s take a look at some players whose impact goes beyond scoring that makes winning plays that go a bit overlooked. Here’s a look at the All-Hustle Team.
Grassroots All-Hustle 2nd Team

Landen Dvorsky Landen Dvorsky 5'11" | CG Liberty | 2022 State CO – Pluto Prospects
Duke Benson Duke Benson 6'3" | SF Kent Denver | 2022 State CO – Pro Skills
Will Tenore Will Tenore 6'4" | PF Mead | 2022 State CO – Colorado Roughriders

Robison is a guard that has always been surrounding by other great guards but seems to still stand out and that is because of his willingness to do the little things. Robison pushes the pace, speeds opposing guards up, and is a pest on defense. He plays guard closely and makes them work without fouling. He also seemed to respond on every big run that opposing teams went on this season as the Roughriders were a team that played up and challenged themselves this summer. Robison can score, defend, and is a great positional rebounder that is a big play waiting to happen. He works extremely hard and is a player to watch as Horizon will look a bit different this season and look towards their junior class. He makes my All-Hustle team with ease.
Dvorsky was the X-factor for Pluto that kept it all together. He seems to be everywhere on the floor and bring something new and special to every setting. He is always moving, finding holes and creases in the defense, quickly rotates the ball, and can score off of the ball. Dvorsky can also have the ball in his hands and operate as a lead guard if need be. He gets his hands on loose balls, is setting up for charges and diving for loose balls, and also has a nag for making plays. He was a must-watch player that has obviously put in a ton of work this summer to get better with Pluto and will be an interesting player to watch this upcoming season.
Benson is a run through a wall type of player, and that brings contagious energy to your ball club. He is not out there just looking to score; he does not have to have the ball to be effective, and if his assignment is to slow down the opposing player’s guard or big man, he is going to make it happen. That is a player that a team wants to have, and teammates rally behind. He is the ultimate competitor, gives it his all, and as his understanding of the game gets better, he opens up more doors for himself. He was one of my favorite X-factors to watch this summer.
Tenore is a dirty jobs kind of guy, and he does not mind doing it. He will do whatever is asked of him and with maximum effort. He is diving for loose balls, setting the hard screens, battling inside with the trees and, despite not having the size of the other bigs, finds a way to come out with the ball. Tenore is a player that you do not have to call plays for, and he is still going to find a way to get it done. Every team needs a player that puts the team first, and he is that guy. He easily makes the list.
Mitchell certainly has the size to win the rebounding battle at 6’8, but when you see the motor and his ability to truly affect the game with that length and athleticism, then it is easy to see why Fountain Fort-Carson will have one of the best frontcourts in Colorado Springs this season. Mitchell does not give up on plays, leaves it all on the floor, and protects the paint. He is going after every block, altering shots, and always moving down low. Once it all comes together, he is going to be a player to watch as not many in the class has his size.
