Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo - Top Performers, Part Two

All of our events at Prep Hoops Indiana generate a lot of attention across the state. However, the growth of The Expo is a major point of pride for our team as we wrap up the summer. This year we doubled the size of the event bringing in nearly 120 prospects in the Classes of 2027 and 2028. Also, more than just the raw numbers, the level of talent was very impressive. We hosted over 40 Top 100 prospects today and had college coaches from the Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels in attendance. This was truly one of the best exposure events of the year that you could attend as a prospect.   As always, we will be unleashing a ton of content over the next week or so coming out of The Expo. We will have evaluations of every player in attendance post on a team-by-team basis. Also, top performers, new names, and more will be highlighted. Here are some of the top performers that caught our attention at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo.   If you did not receive an evaluation please contact Brandon Ramsey directly via Twitter DM or email at coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    You can pretty much pencil in Bowling III as a top performer regardless of what setting you are watching him in at this point. He simply is so productive all of the time. The 6'5" wing utilizes his length and athleticism as a driver consistently getting up to finish above the rim. He dominates in transition, attacks the rim with authority, and can finish well with both hands when he gets to the paint. Bowling III will look to lead Anderson High School once again as a junior and will definitely be an Indiana Junior All-Star candidate this season.     Bowman has proven himself as one of the most talented pure scorers in Indiana's Class of 2028. The 6'0" guard averaged 22.6 points per game as a sophomore and should once again be one of the top scorers in the state as a junior at Crawford County High School. He is an outstanding mid-range scorer and has enough athletic pop to finish at the end of his drives. Bowman made a lot of tough shots on Sunday at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo proving his ability to put the ball in the basket against a high level of competition.     There has never been a question about Harris' upside. He has some of the most special athletic and physical tools in the state of Indiana. However, the skill level is starting to pop now and catch up with his physical gifts. The 6'6" wing/forward has trimmed down a bit, grown an inch or so, and is starting to shoot it well from three-point range consistently. When you pair that with his explosiveness getting downhill and ability to finish high above the rim you start to get a pretty intriguing prospect. It will be fun to follow Harris throughout his upcoming junior season and beyond.     The strength and physicality stand out right away when watching Mulenga play. In fact, all you really have to do is look at him. He has such a strong build as a 6'5" forward. Mulenga will play his senior season at Mt. Vernon (Fortville) High School and should play a major factor in their front court. He is a very good interior finisher, rebounds well, and has upside as a defender that can guard multiple positions. Small college programs should continue to recruit him hard heading into his senior season. One of the top under-the-radar forwards in the senior class.     You can always count on Pearce to bring it regardless of the setting. He put up big numbers as a freshman and sophomore at Lanesville High School, has been consistently productive on the summer grassroots circuit, and was a top performer on Sunday at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo. The 6'4" wing uses his versatility to his advantage. He is a capable outside shooter, but really excels as a driver. Pearce loves to utilize his size and strength to punish smaller defenders off of the bounce and score at the end of his drives. Look for him to put up some big time scoring and rebounding numbers as a junior at Lanesville.     Szaferski capped off an excellent summer with a strong showing at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo on Sunday. The 6'0" junior point guard from Bishop Luers High School has been one of the top stock-risers in the Class of 2028 over the past few months. He is shooting the ball at a high-level from three-point range, scoring it off of the bounce, and has maintained his playmaking ability for others while stepping up his scoring output. Look for him to have a massive junior year and help make the Knights competitive in Class 3A Sectional 22.     One of the more physical wings at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo, we saw Wilkerson have a lot of success driving it right and finishing in the paint. He is comfortable handling the ball on the perimeter and is especially effective attacking closeouts or driving it right in a straight line. Once he gets inside of 15-feet or so he operates at a high level and does a great job of finishing. New Albany High School is loaded with college prospects this season, but Wilkerson is definitely one in the senior class for small college coaches to have eyes on throughout the year.
