Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo | LG’s New Faces Standouts

The Prep Hoops Indiana Expo provided a great opportunity for prospects across the state to showcase their talent. Several new faces from the 2027 and 2028 classes made strong first impressions with their production, skill sets, and competitiveness. Here's a look at some of the emerging prospects who stood out and put themselves on the radar at The Expo: Smooth 6'4” wing out of Zionsville that got going early and often showing off his offensive versatility. [player_tooltip player_id='2553895' first='Elijah' last='Berger'] is a long and lanky wing with pop in his athleticism when finishing around the rim. Quick first step to get by his defender and always seems to be under control. Really nice midrange game whether it's with his floater or turning his drive into a post up and rising up over the defense. Excellent off the catch from the perimeter with a smooth repeatable stroke. Will be a big piece for the Eagles this season. Intriguing Forward out of South Bend Washington with a bit of an unorthodox game, but was extremely productive in front of me. Matchup nightmare with his inside-out skill set. Comfortable handling on the perimeter and uses his body well on drives to get to his spots and finishes well through contact. Big time rebounder on both ends of the floor and and is a versatile defender that can contain on the perimeter and is active as a rim protector. So much potential that Fishers 6'9” Center [player_tooltip player_id='3688085' first='Sally' last='Camara'] was one of the more intriguing prospects I have gotten to see since the high school season ended. Formidable defensive presence with long wingspan that impacts the game around the rim. Still learning the game, but has tools that you simply can't teach. Runs the floor well, decent pick and roll threat, and good footwork. Raw offensively with his finishing and touch, but is only starting to scratch the surface of what he can become. Holds an offer from IU-Columbus. 6'5” Batesville 2027 Wing [player_tooltip player_id='2141019' first='James' last='Hughes'] was so good from start to finish at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo. Skilled and athletic 6'5” prospect doesn't have many holes in his game and produces at a high level on both ends of the floor. Smooth lefty from the perimeter that shoots it with supreme confidence. Was also really good off the bounce where he was able to get all the way to the rim and finish with athleticism and power. Exceptional talent that has the chance to be a scholarship level player at the next level. Impressive athlete at the forward spot from South Ripley that plays with an incredibly high motor and uses his length and size to his advantage on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='2477290' first='Blake' last='Gunter'] is an active defender that guards multiple positions. Uses his athleticism and is always in position to make a play. Rebounds at a high level and showed his perimeter skills off the defensive glass pushing in transition. Still considered raw offensively, but possesses a quick first step and is a big time finisher around the rim while having an improving three-point shot. Had some injury issues last season, but should be an integral piece for a talented South Ripley team.
