Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo brought together prospects from across the state looking to make their mark ahead of the upcoming season. Pure Point Guard out of Crawford County had a great spring and summer for Progeny continued his strong play at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo. [player_tooltip player_id='2538843' first='Braxton' last='Bowman'] is a 6'1” guard that does a great job balancing his offensive production of scoring and facilitating. High IQ lead guard that gets to his spots effortlessly and is automatic in the midrange. Not necessarily the quickest or most athletic player in the gym, but possesses elite footwork and uses angles well to navigate the floor. Good shooter that elevates well into his shot. Plays at his own pace and is a high level defender that is capable of shutting down the other team's top backcourt option. Had a huge sophomore year averaging 22.6 points per game for the Wolfpack and only see that increasing this season as a Junior.     It doesn't matter what type of setting you put 6'6” Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2822398' first='Brayden' last='Compton'] in, you know exactly what you're going to get out of him. The North Posey product is a long and athletic forward that simply produces every time he steps on the floor. Nice inside-out skillset that translates to any style of play. Really good rebounder on both ends of the floor. Plays with an extremely high motor and makes plays around the rim on both ends with his size, length, and athleticism. Good screener being a threat as the roll man as well as a pop threat with his perimeter shooting. Will be the senior leader for North Posey group that should be improved during his senior season.     Quick, steady lead guard out of Evansville Central that knows his role and sticks to it very well. Defensive minded guard that makes things difficult for the opposition with his pressure. [player_tooltip player_id='2622073' first='DeAndre' last='Jennings'] is a high IQ guard that is excellent in open space and has a nice burst to get to his spot. Really good getting downhill and finishes in a variety of different ways while the jump shot is still a work in progress, but continues to improve. Will be an immediate contributor for the Bears after transferring in from Evansville Reitz for his senior season.     Despite being from the Southwest part of the state, I honestly hadn't gotten to see much of Castle 6'4” 2027 Wing [player_tooltip player_id='3565539' first='Nick' last='Parker'] much until Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo and boy did he impress. A skilled wing with a good frame and nice athleticism made him one of the more impressive offensive talents at the camp. Inside-out scoring made him a tough cover for anybody. Physical driver that played through contact well. Was really good getting to his spot in the midrange and rising over his defender. When the defense backed off he is a capable three-point shooter with good range. Defensively he's an active defender that can guard multiple spots and rebounds it well. Capable of pushing in transition and is a willing passer to get his team easy looks. Has a chance to be one of the better players in the 4A Evansville Sectional and could lead what should be an improved Castle Knights team in scoring with such bigger role.     Strong framed 2028 Forward/Center out of Evansville Mater Dei that keeps getting better and better every time I see him. [player_tooltip player_id='2889350' first='Luke' last='Richardson'] knows what his bread and butter is, and he doesn't stray away from it too often. High energy big man that fights hard and establishes good post position and has shown he can get a bucket with an array of post moves with good footwork and a soft touch. Stocky build but is a fluid athlete that impacts the game at the rim on both ends. Has ever-improving athleticism that makes him a defensive presence and allows him to be a more versatile defender. Has the chance to be an instant impact in what should be his first full season in the varsity rotation at Evansville Mater Dei.
