Physical 2027 Wing from Castle that just has a knack for putting the ball in the basket. 6’4” Nick Parker Nick Parker 6'4" | SF/SG Castle | 2027 IN had an excellent spring and summer for D1 Indiana South. Really good shooter that can also get to his spots in the midrange and score in a variety of different ways. Does a good job using his size and strength finishing through contact. Will be a major piece for a Castle team coming off a 4A Sectional Championship last season.

Despite being from the Southwest part of the state, I honestly hadn’t gotten to see much of Castle 6’4” 2027 Wing Nick Parker Nick Parker 6'4" | SF/SG Castle | 2027 IN much until Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo and boy did he impress. A skilled wing with a good frame and nice athleticism made him one of the more impressive offensive talents at the camp. Inside-out scoring made him a tough cover for anybody. Physical driver that played through contact well. Was really good getting to his spot in the midrange and rising over his defender. When the defense backed off he is a capable three-point shooter with good range. Defensively he’s an active defender that can guard multiple spots and rebounds it well. Capable of pushing in transition and is a willing passer to get his team easy looks. Has a chance to be one of the better players in the 4A Evansville Sectional and could lead what should be an improved Castle Knights team in scoring with such bigger role.

We identified Parker as one of the top stock-risers coming out of The Expo on Sunday. Here is what we had to say about the talented playmaker…

Parker definitely benefited from Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo. He is a bigger guard that can toggle between several different positions in the backcourt and on the wing. The 6’3″ playmaker is a very good passer and found success getting to the basket off of the dribble consistently. He was able to start the break in transition, attack the paint in the half court, and made a lot of great plays for his teammates throughout the event. Look for him to have a breakout senior season at Castle High School.

Nick Parker Nick Parker 6'4" | SF/SG Castle | 2027 IN is a prospect that jumped onto the scene last season as he was a key piece for the Castle Knights 4A Sectional Championship team. At 6’4”, the versatility on both ends of the floor really stood out to me when I got to see him play. Capable scorer from all over. He’s a really good shooter, but doesn’t settle. Quick first step and long strides gets him to the basket where he can finish in a variety of different ways. He’s a high motor Wing that rebounds his position and does all the little things that don’t necessarily show up on the state sheet. He’s had a really nice spring with D1 Indiana South and expect him to finish out July strong.
