Young guard that was a key piece for the Castle Knights Sectional Championship team in March has continued his strong play through June with Hoop Club 2029. Versatile guard that can do a lot of different things offensively but his calling card is his shooting ability. Comfortable shooting off the catch or off the dribble. He possesses a smooth, quick release that is effortless from deep range. Continues to get better off the dribble in the midrange, but does a good job using change of speed to get all the way to the basket where he uses both hands well. High IQ guard that continues to get better every time I see him.

Unfortunately I haven’t gotten to see Baker play yet this AAU season, but from following along, the highly skilled 5’11” guard is putting up big numbers on the offensive end. Coming off a solid freshman season at Castle, Baker is a guard that possesses great feel on the offensive end and plays in constant attack mode while looking to make the right basketball play. Looking forward to getting out to see him and seeing his progression.
