Luke Richardson really impressed me during the 3v3 period. Good patience with the ball in his hands; can dribble across near baseline with control. Good presence on defense with good hands to strip the ball away and create steals. Times the ball well for blocks. Flashed being a very good passer who can dribble and kick the ball outside for wide-open 3s. Good rebounder.

Evansville Mater Dei is going to be a tough team to beat in the Pocket City area this coming season. Richardson is a name to remember that should burst onto the scene some as a junior. He was very good in the post at the Marian University Elite Camp. The 6’6″ forward is very strong, does not shy away from contact, and has sound interior footwork. He is a guy you can throw it to on the block with the intent for him to score it.

The 6’6” big man from Evansville Mater Dei/Hoop Club 2028 shot a lot of his time ring the high school season on the JV, but has developed into a legit double-double threat every time he steps on the floor. Physical big man that owns the paint on both ends. A rebounding machine with an insane motor. Defensively, he alters and blocks at a high clip while showing he can run the floor and be a finisher in the paint in transition.

Interesting post prospect out of Evansville Mater Dei that completely dominated the paint in the parts of two games I saw today. Big bodied 6’6” forward Luke Richardson Luke Richardson 6'6" | PF/SF Evansville Mater Dei | 2028 IN was a beast on the glass in the both ends of the floor playing with an extremely high motor. Defensively he did a good job communicating from the back line and being a help defender on drives. He stayed vertical and was a solid rim protector all day. He ran the floor well from rim to rim and carved out space on the blocks for post position and showed he could score in a variety of different ways around the basket. Will be an intriguing player to keep an eye on throughout the high school season.

Intriguing big body forward that showed defensive and rebounding potential. A bit raw on the offensive end, he showed solid screen setting and he rolled hard to the basket and was able to finish strong around the rim. He played with with a high motor and should be a solid depth piece for the Wildcats this season.
