I'm not sure there was a position that he didn't defend, as he spent time defending a 6'10 center at some points, while other stretches he was out on the perimeter moving his feet with point guards. He's constantly looking to get everyone involved, and never hesitated to pass the ball ahead if a teammate had some space in transition. In the half-court he used his quickness to get into dangerous areas before kicking it out to his shooters. I came into the event knowing Lavon was a lightning quick guard who can make plays defensively, but that confidence in his shot was a nice step forward in his development. He kept things simple but productive in the game I watched, showing he can protect the rim and rebound like he's 6'6+. Wleh gets off the floor quickly to contest shots or pull in rebounds with two hands. All spring and summer he was a part of a Fury team that proved to be tough to beat for anyone in the state, and he looks to have carried over that production into the fall. At 6'5 he's a true floor stretcher who can heat up in a hurry from three point range. All day long defenders had to keep a hand up on him otherwise he could quickly put three points on the board. He moved his feet with smaller wings on the defensive end, ran the floor hard in transition every chance he got, and was crashing the offensive glass looking for putback buckets. Even if he didn't get a lot of touches in the half-court, his work rate helped him get some good looks off of turnovers and offensive rebounds. Both in the 3v3 and 5v5 portions he showcased impressive shot creating ability at his size, able to create space against smaller guards and get his shots off with ease. With range that extends to well beyond the three point line, defenders are forced to step out and guard him tight beyond the arc. He was using his length to make every look inside difficult, he sprinted the floor to provide an option in transition, and was finding a body to box out after shots went up. Kenny also showed some flashes of what he can do at 6'8, scoring off of a nice spin move and also throwing down a two handed dunk in the open floor. At around 6'4-6'5, the St. Paul Johnson forward is a big threat in transition as he can elevate off two feet for some strong finishes. He showed that bounce when he got out in the open floor for a two handed dunk in the second half. Throughout the game he mixed in a few strong finishes off of drives, and he looks ready to be a key player for Johnson this winter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
