*Minimum 50 3-point attempts*

1.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2772348' first='Chase' last='Perrin'] (Dallas Center-Grimes) -- 66/129 (51.2%)

It's one thing to shoot above 50% from the 3-point line on a 30-40 shot sample size. It's a whole other thing to shoot at that clip with the number of attempts Perrin took last season (6.45/game). An elite shooter from distance, he moves exceptionally well without the ball in his hands, has a quick release off the catch, and has steadily improved his jumper off the dribble as well. His ability to space the floor is huge for DCG, and his all-around game only continues to improve.

t2.) 2029 [player_tooltip player_id='3693119' first='Ty' last='Wetrich'] (Ottumwa) -- 26/57 (45.6%)

Wetrich is a 6-0 off-ball guard who had a really good freshman year for the Bulldogs, shooting better than 45% from behind the arc. He shot it at a higher clip from distance than he did from 2-point range (37.7%).

t2.) 2029 [player_tooltip player_id='3693111' first='Damian' last='Segovia'] (Marshalltown) -- 26/57 (45.6%)

Like Wetrich, Segovia had a nice freshman year, shooting the same exact percentage from 3-point range as Wetrich did. He can do a little bit more with the ball in his hands, averaging 2.2 assists per game, and he'll pair with [player_tooltip player_id='2381208' first='Drake' last='Gersema'] to give the Bobcats one of the best shooting backcourts in the Iowa Alliance.

4.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2917306' first='CJ' last='Mosala'] (Council Bluffs Lincoln) -- 36/79 (45.6%)

The first of four (yes, four!) Lynx players on this top 10 list, Mosala is a big-bodied wing who does a great job using his big, physical frame to bully his way to the rim and to his spots in the mid-range. But he's not limited offensively. In fact, he has proven himself to be one of the state's premier 3-point shooting threats as well. He shoots it really, really well off the catch and moves well without the ball in his hands.

5.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2118611' first='Jerimiah' last='Washpun'] (Liberty) -- 44/97 (45.4%)

Washpun is one of the most talented scorers in the state, blessed with great speed and ball-handling, which he has relied heavily upon to get to the rim routinely. His perimeter stroke really improved as a junior, shooting better than 45% from behind the arc, and these are not always easy, uncontested looks. If his improvement (26.9% as a sophomore) is for real, good luck trying to slow him down.

6.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2617477' first='Braylin' last='De Jager'] (Council Bluffs Lincoln) -- 37/82 (45.1%)

De Jager is more known as the playmaker, pass-first guard for the Lynx, but he has proven time and time again that he's also a really dangerous 3-point shooting threat, so play off of him at your own risk. He gets the ball into his shooting pocket quickly off the bounce and has unlimited range.

7.) 2029 [player_tooltip player_id='2918369' first='Kaden' last='Gomez'] (Kennedy) -- 62/139 (44.6%)

Can you tell that the 2029 class has some real sharpshooters in it? Gomez may just be the best of the bunch. A pure shooter with a high, quick release on his shot, he's confident both off the dribble and the catch and does a great job utilizing the threat of his jumper to open up the rest of his offensive arsenal. He's part of a loaded 2029 class at Kennedy that will keep the Cougars among the elite in the MVC and in 4A.

8.) 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2523932' first='Kalan' last='Steinbeck'] (Council Bluffs Lincoln) -- 63/143 (44.1%)

Steinbeck picked up offers from Nebraska, Creighton, and Saint Louis over the summer and may just be starting to scratch the surface of his long-term potential. A 6-7 wing with a pure, picturesque stroke from the 3-point line, he's able to shoot over defenders and is equally strong shooting it from distance off both the dribble and the catch.

9.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2366206' first='Jeremiah' last='Slaughter'] (Council Bluffs Lincoln) -- 58/135 (43.0%)

Slaughter is a high-volume 3-point shooter, launching an average of just under six triples a game, and it's clearly for good reason! He's supremely confident in his stroke off both the dribble and the catch, getting into his shot quickly. He handles the ball well and has really good footwork, which he uses to help create some extra space to get his shot off when operating within the halfcourt.

10.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2116043' first='Joshua' last='Jenkins'] (Johnston) -- 48/112 (42.9%)

Jenkins is one of the most intriguing long-term prospects in the state, regardless of class. He's the type of 6-6/6-7 sharpshooting wing with size, length, athleticism, and shotmaking that college coaches salivate over.
