His mechanics are perfect, and his release is extremely fast. He really needs no room at all to get a clean look off, and he is especially efficient from behind the arc even with contesting defenders trying to throw him off. These threes also come from deep range, as Chase has no issue keeping his form and touch intact from way outside. His shooting threat, both off the catch and off the dribble, creates many hard closeouts, which he is adept at attacking, making quick reads, and producing open shots for his team. He is a really smart player and always makes the right play. Chase is also an impactful defender. He is always very engaged and active on the defensive end, which leads to him gaining many steals in the passing lanes. Perrin was a key contributor for a good DCG team as a freshman, averaging 6 points and shooting just under 43% from behind the arc. He has a quick release on his shot both off the dribble and the catch, getting the ball into his shooting pocket in the blink of an eye, and he moves really well without the ball in his hands.
