In a win over Real Phenom, Kolby put together one of the top shooting performances that I've seen all summer. The Prior Lake drained 8 three point shots, doing so off the catch and dribble. It got to a point in the second half where any time he crossed half-court, Kolby was a threat to put points on the board. Kolby has no problem playing the role of an unselfish floor general who can get all of his teammates involved, but when he's feeling it, he can put points on the board in a hurry.

Once Marcus gets into a rhythm, there's not much you can do to stop him. Marcus is simply too quick with the ball in his hands, and with range that extends to about 10 feet beyond the high school arc, good luck guarding him out on an island. Despite coming up just short, Marcus put in an impressive individual performance against [program_tooltip program_id='2422572' first='D1' last='Minnesota Gold']. Marcus was draining three after three, and then as defenders started stepping up on him, he showcased his blow by speed to get to the rim. His explosive athleticism allows him to hang in the air for difficult finishes over size. Marcus capped off the performance with a half-court shot at the buzzer.

Missing a key player on Friday, William stepped up with a big performance to help lead his Minnesota Gold team to a win over a talented Real Phenom group. Will has good size out on the wing at 6'2, with the shooting touch to make defenders pay for losing track of him off the ball. He was constantly moving off the ball looking for pockets of space to catch-and-shoot, and when defenders closed out too hard he did a great job of shot faking and then attacking off the dribble. He has some strength that helped him make plays at the rim as well.

You won't find many guards quicker than [player_tooltip player_id='3343989' first='Corey' last='Davis']. Him and his Court 45 team made the trip up to compete in Minnesota, and Corey impressed in his time on the floor. At 5'7 he's absolutely fearless attacking the basket, and came up with some impressive finishes among the trees inside. He just found ways to explode off the floor, hang in the air, and find ways to extend and finish around shot blockers. His quickness also translated to the defensive end where he was a pest on the ball. Able to move his feet laterally to consistently cut off opposing ball handlers and force turnovers.

Moorhead has another promising prospect coming up in the ranks. [player_tooltip player_id='2447413' first='Liam' last='Hoganson'] impressed on Friday in a matchup with a tough [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] team. At 6'3 he showed a nice handle, able to get his team into their offensive sets or create his own looks. Liam drained a number of threes early in the game, forcing defenders to step out and guard him tight. Going back the other way Liam showed the combination of length and mobility that allowed him to guard just about every spot on the floor. He'll be a name to track out of Moorhead over the next few years.

We've seen Duluth Denfeld at the state tournament recently, and the talent pool doesn't appear to be drying up. Tristan played a key role these past few days in helping lead his [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] team to a 4-0 record at the 15u level. At 6'2 he can play a variety of positions at this stage, spending time both running the point and out on the wing. Tristan could torch defenses from three, use his big frame to finish at the rim, or set up his big man in positions to score. [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] played without any subs on Friday, but Tristan provided high levels of energy and production throughout the game.
