Previewing June: 2028 Prospects Looking Forward to Scouting

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we head into the June live periods who are the 2028 prospects I am most looking forward to seeing in person and getting updated evals on?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2531962' first='Amir' last='Tucker'] (St. Ignatius)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tucker had a massive end to the high school season.&nbsp; He has always been one of the top PGs in the 2028 class, but what he did the second half of the season helped him rise up to #6 overall.&nbsp; The guard had an up and down spring in the EYBL.&nbsp; We are looking for him to establish himself as the clear leader for Iggy and their go to guy in June!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2194655' first='Braydon' last='Porter'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2532003' first='Joey' last='Jakstys'] (Yorkville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two of the more intriguing wings in the 2028 class reside from the same team.&nbsp; Porter is a strong bodied wing that flashes elite athleticism and scoring pop.&nbsp; Jakstys was really good when we saw him this spring with his ability to create off the bounce, score in the post, and stretch the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2395586' first='Amir' last='Beasley'] (Danville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Beasley is among the more polarizing prospects from an eval standpoint in the class.&nbsp; He has all the physical tools you could ask for with his size and elite athleticism.&nbsp; The talent is tantalizing with his bounce and ability to impact on both ends.&nbsp; What we are looking for in June is more consistent production and how the three point shot progresses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2540198' first='Terrence' last='Davis'] (Libertyville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Davis was very good for AIA when we saw him recently.&nbsp; Displayed his ability to impact the game across the board with his slashing, passing, and defense.&nbsp; For Libertyville it is now his team with the graduation of the big fella.&nbsp; Want to see him to continue being the alpha along with showcasing more shot making in his game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2842573' first='Blake' last='Choice'] (DePaul Prep)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Choice is another prospect that is going to take on a larger role this season.&nbsp; Early in his career he was a connective piece for the Rams and now will be one of the go to guys.&nbsp; He has size for position along with the ability to play both on and off the ball.&nbsp; Can't wait to see where his game is headed.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2393606' first='Cole' last='Jansons'] (Oswego)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jansons has legit size and skill potential.&nbsp; Big men take a little longer to come around and that is the case with Jansons.&nbsp; We continue to see flashes out of him as one of the better centers in the class.&nbsp; Look forward to seeing where his game has progressed in June.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2433752' first='Walker' last='Ross'] (St. Ignatius)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Really liked what we saw out of Ross last month at Run N Slam.&nbsp; Combo guard that can play both on and off the ball.&nbsp; Looking forward to seeing how he is going to fit in next to Tucker along with their young core.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3454823' first='Landon' last='Ray'] (St. Viator)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ray had a monster spring emerging as one of the top stock risers in the class.&nbsp; Size for position with the ability to shoot it from three and put it on the deck.&nbsp; We think once college coaches get a look his recruitment will start to pick up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
