The highly ranked 2028 big man didn’t score, but still left his impact on the game. He had multiple massive blocked shots inside and contesting shooters on the perimeter. Like how he high-pointed rebounds and played with toughness like a true five on the boards. Showed some passing feel too hitting a cutting Vahl from the perimeter on a quick pass.

Anytime you see a legitimate 6’10” prospect at the 15u level you are going to pay attention. Jansons was just tall though. This prospect from Oswego displayed good hands and feet, especially for a young prospect at his size. There is a ton of upside to work with here with Jansons.

Jansons already has incredible size at 6’7. When I watched him Friday, I saw him take advantage of that in a big way on the boards. Always doing his best to keep opponents off the glass. Offensively, he has good footwork with several strong finishes on the inside. Good strides in transition. Oswego product will be a name to monitor.

is a man amongst boys out there at this point in the game. Jansons stands at 6’6 and he uses every inch to his advantage. He may have size but he also is very agile in his movements coming down the floor. He has shown the ability to be able to post up or he can bring his defender out to the perimeter and work off of some solid screening action. His team actually understands this and runs an offense in which they do multiple dribble handoffs, into a screen at the top of the key by Jansons, leading into a roll at the hoop where he usually catches a lob for a simple finish at the rim. If we are talking about someone with size, skill, and a smart head on his shoulders, Jansons is that player and he is only going to get better over time if he works on the correct things moving forward.
