Adrienne C. Nelson (OR)

Classification: 6A

2025-26 Record: 18-7

Key Players

[player_tooltip player_id='2026057' first='Braylon' last='Gaines'] 6-0 PG 2027

Ever since starting his high school career, Gaines has been one of the top scorers and assist leaders in the state. A foot injury kept him out for much of his junior season but he's projected to be back for WIBCA. Also a quarterback on the Nelson football team, he currently holds a hoops offer from Portland State.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132795' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'] 6-3 G 2027

One of the most electric athletes in the state, Garlington's collegiate future may be on the football field but he's a dynamic player on the hardwood as well. He's particularly exciting in transition with his ability to finish above the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2026060' first='Jaydon' last='Schregardus'] 5-11 CG 2027

When Gaines was sidelined last season, Schregardus stepped into point guard duties and handled them well. Known best for his quick release and deep range from three, the experience of playing lead guard has helped the rising senior develop a more well-rounded game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2364540' first='Josh' last='Lopez'] 5-9 G 2027

Lopez has waited his turn as Nelson has been deep in the backcourt but he'll be in the rotation as a senior. He's a heady point guard who's a good ball-handler and passer capable of making good reads and decisions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2856202' first='Ashton' last='Cantwell'] 6-1 G 2027

One of the more underrated and sleeper wings in the state is Cantwell, who can really get hot from the perimeter - last season he tied a school single-game record for threes made in a game. More than just a shooter, the senior can put the ball on the floor a bit to create space. He's been a top weapon for the team in June and with his club team this spring.

PJ Sideris 5-10 G 2030

Already making waves as one of the top incoming freshmen for next season, Sideris is a shot-making guard with a sweet looking lefty stroke. Despite his youth, he plays with a lot of maturity and confidence.

Annie Wright (WA)

Classification: 1A

2025-26 Record: 18-10

Key Players

[player_tooltip player_id='2879457' first='James' last='Thomas'] 5-10 PG 2029

The Gators floor general will have a big hand in getting their offense going. He has the IQ and polish early on that you might expect from the son of a former NBA star. Thomas currently holds an offer to Montana, and has been lighting it up on the 3SSB Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='3514498' first='Slow' last='Grind Elite'], averaging 18.6 PPG.

[player_tooltip player_id='2879458' first='Joaquin' last='Wiley'] 5-11 CG 2029

Wiley is a bursty, instinctual off guard who will make plays on both ends and brings an aggressive style of play to the floor. Shoots the three at a good clip, will rack up steals and create turnovers on the defensive end, and has good athleticism and reactions.

David “Riley” Martinez 5-9 PG 2029

Another capable point guard for the Gators, Martinez can be that table-setter to get his team into sets and actions, and will provide some pesky defense on the ball. Pass-first guard but can stretch the floor and has the touch to hit shots in between levels around the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2621488' first='Zelalem' last='Poulin'] 6-3 SG 2029

An athletic wing who can make plays at the rim on both ends. Poulin also has a good outside shot, spotting up from three, and working the midrange off the bounce. He'll be an active player baseline to baseline.

Reports written by Remo Morgan (PrepHoops Washington) and Jed Tai (PrepHoops Oregon)
