If we had a vote for MVP of the tournament it would have been Schregardus as he led his 2Way Stars squad to the title, where he scored a team-high 16 points. Deep quick-release threes as usual from the Nelson combo guard but he mixed it up well with some strong drives to the basket, drawing contact to get to the free throw line. He was also solid with his passing and getting teammates involved.

is a true two-way guard who brings both leadership and versatility. A sniper from the perimeter who can also slash to the rim, he plays with confidence and energy while remaining a pass-first option. Very vocal and a strong team leader, Schregardus showed great chemistry with his teammates. He also impacts the game defensively as a strong on-ball defender and rebounds well for his size, finishing with 17 points.

Schregardus was one of the top shooters from the event and let it fly just about anytime defenders hung back. He showed deep range behind the line as well as the recognition and ability to draw defenders out and attack the interior. He’s a strong guard with a tight handle who used quick feet, good balance, and well-timed hesitations outside that led to a bunch of good looks for sophomore guard. (RM)

Out of all the players in attendance on Saturday, Schregardus may have been the purest scorer out of the bunch. Getting buckets seemed to come naturally for the future Nelson guard as he scored early and scored often throughout the day. His touch from three-point range was totally wet and he was just as good off the catch-and-shoot as pulling up off the dribble and hitting shots with a hand in his face. Schregardus was also more than capable of using his physical strength to get in the lane and finish in the lane. He easily put up one of the top point totals of the day.
