Indiana All-Star Classic – Futures Games Top Performers

This event features two games with Class of 2027 prospects competing against one another and two games with Class of 2028 and Class of 2029 prospects competing against one another. Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage throughout the day from this event. His ability to create separation off of the bounce and make tough perimeter shots off of the dribble puts a lot of pressure on opposing defenders. Brobston is a consistent matchup problem due to having guard-like skills with the size of a forward. He combined those factors well on Friday at the Indiana All-Star Classic finishing with a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. He has been playing at a very high level for Hamilton Southeastern and on the AAU Circuit. However, he took things to another level with his performance on Friday. Not only was it the performance of the day, but it was arguably the most impressive individual performance that I've seen yet this spring/summer. Clark poured in an incredible 47 points at the Indiana All-Star Classic including six three-point shots. Playing alongside Clark, Gilbert poured in 24 points of his own at the Indiana All-Star Classic. The 6'3" guard did a little bit of everything for his team knocking in shots from the perimeter, using his athleticism to attack the basket, and showcasing his playmaking ability. There are very few rising juniors in Indiana who do that as well as this 6'2" guard from Merrillville High School. Hardiman especially got going during a stretch in the second quarter, but was a consistent factor all game long for the winning team. However, he has really started to showcase some shot-making ability this spring and summer. We saw him shoot it well at EYBL Session III and then again on Friday where he went 5-9 from deep and finished with a double-double of 23 point and 10 rebounds. The 6'4" athletic guard who has transferred from Muncie Central to Delta High School is such a talented, pure scorer. He slices his way through the defense consistently off of the dribble and has a lot of ability in transition. However, he quickly caught our attention and ended up as one of the top performers of the day. The 6'1" left-handed guard from Caston High School had his jump shot working both from beyond the arc and in the mid-range while also showing off a little bit of playmaking ability for others.
