Highland head coach Logan Miller has an impressive roster and Carter is one of the center pieces that will sway winning in a crucial way this season. His impact was felt in their 3-1 showing over the weekend with Carter's 16.8PPPG, 5.5RPG and 1.8APG on 47/40/88 splits. While the numbers are impressive, the manner in which he gets them is what demands college staffs' attention. Georgetown, VCU, Virginia and Virginia Tech all extended offers following the weekend.

Smith is another dynamic, 6-foot-6 guard/wing with a significant ceiling in the long-term, but showed this weekend that the potential is quickly turning into production as the primary offensive threat for Hargrave. Like Carter mentioned above, the appeal is how Carter gets to his spots and produces in limited dribbles. You can tell the fundamental skillset is very present and always has been with his development. He attacks closeouts with quick, long strides making it difficult for defenders to recover, but can also score it from the mid-range and around the bucket in a variety of ways. Hargrave is a young team that will depend heavily on Smith's production. Learning how to be the guy who can swing winning for his team could be great for his development. Georgetown and Oklahoma State offered shortly after the rising junior averaged 14PPG, 6RPG and 2.3APG this weekend.

Fitzgerald has a never-ending motor and it was obvious with his body of work as he was the bell cow for Flint Hill's 3-0 weekend, all of which came by double digits. The numbers were flat out dominant as he averaged a double-double of 20PPG, 12.7RPG 3.3APG and 3.0SPG while scoring it at a 63 percent clip from the field. He may have not been a name atop of college coaches list coming into S1, but moving forward he'll be a name that plenty prioritize to track for the remainder of summer. Given the competitive motor he brings to each game, the likelihood that he receives his first offer within the next month is high.

The newest face to the PVI roster who is set to have a tremendous impact is Robinson. Making the move from Landstown to PVI as the Panthers look to loosen the blow of losing their senior class led by arguably the top prospect in the country [player_tooltip player_id='3336930' first='Jordan' last='Smith'] Jr. (Arkansas), there were fairly large expectations for Robinson's addition. It's far from fair to expect any player to come in and replace what Smith brought so that's won't be the case here, but Robinson put on a clinic in showing how he can continue to fuel the winning juggernaut that head coach Glenn Farello has constructed year over year. PVI went 3-1 on the weekend and Robinson proved his worth as a high-IQ floor general that brings great balance as a scorer and playmaker. He averaged 16.3PPG, 5.8APG and 2.3RPG posting impressive 50/58/86 splits, which warranted offers from Coastal Carolina and Oklahoma State to join the collection he's already established.

Cully had a coming out party of sorts over the weekend as he showcased his elite long-range shooting ability. If you've followed the P32 circuit at all this spring, this is no surprise to you. The 6'4"-6'5" wing has been lighting it up for DC Assault 16s and the way he can rattle off 2-to-3 straight triples can change the course of a game in less than a minute. O'Connell is a team still getting their feet under them with chemistry and cohesion, so I'm not buying into the 1-3 showing considering their largely new roster and the high level of competition they faced. What I am buying (further) into though, is Cully being one of the most dangerous outside shooters in the DMV. The proof is in the pudding as he averaged 16.8PPG while converting at an alarming 46 percent from three on 35 attempts.

McQueen made his debut with O'Connell since announcing his transfer from Maryland and looked the part of another transfer point guard into the WCAC who should impact his new team in a massive way. For three of the four games he was without his backcourt mate, [player_tooltip player_id='2353544' first='Corey' last='Dixon'], which meant the ball was in his hands the entire game with expectations of creating for himself and everyone around him. As the weekend progressed, you could tell his comfort level improved as his numbers rounded out to be 13.8PPG, 5.8RPG and 5.0APG. In the contest that Dixon laced up for, the Knights decimated St. James Academy 86-52. McQueen collected offers from Chattanooga, Iona and LaSalle.

Franklin was one of the talents that O'Connell lost in the transfer portal as he made the move to Potomac School along with reclassing to 2028. One of the better prospects I observed this weekend, Franklin continues to be a on a heater of a spring/summer with the efficient overall style of play that he brings as a guard/wing. Everything he does comes within the flow and when he's operating off the bounce, there's a great pace to his attack combined with awareness for when to look for his own or manipulate the defense with his eyes to open up a look for a teammate. He's a presence on the glass and was effective in hauling misses in defensively and sparking transition himself. Franklin received offers from Grambling State and Wagner after averaging 20.5PPG, 6.8RPG and 2.0APG.

DMV Live S1 has come to a close and there was no shortage of evaluations, team takeaways and prospects who took advantage of the stage to boost their stock. I move on to the Virginia 2028 prospects who were topics of conversation along the sidelines.
