The 6-foot lead guard continues to steer a reinvigorated Bethel Academy group to wins and at DMV Live, he showed off his scoring prowess and ability to live in the paint. In four games, the southpaw averaged an alarming 29PPG to go with 7RPG and 3.8APG. As indicated, his hands were all over their matchups as Bethel finished their showing 2-2 overall. Against St. James Academy however, the 6-foot-3 combo guard laced up and put on a shot-making clinic en route to 31 points on 11-of-17 from the field and a blistering 6-of-9 from three. Many of his shots came from off the bounce, which showed good signs of his pace, confidence and balance. Anywhere he goes or whoever he's playing for, the constant is the 6-foot-7 southpaw forward's activity will be felt. Similar to Potomac, I expect Episcopal to be one of the top teams in the state of VA and much of that has to do with their senior forward's motor. He averaged 14.3PPG, 8.8RPG and 3.0APG leading his team to a 3-1 showing and in the win over Mt. The evidence was picking up an offer from UTEP, but there were a handful of programs who haven't offered to this point who has Mitchell firmly on their radars moving forward. His archetype as a strong built off-ball guard who can thrive in a floor-spacing role, but isn't limited to just shooting three's is extremely valuable in today's game. If this weekend is any indication for what's to come, the 6-foot-6 wing is primed for a breakout season as he helped his team to a 2-1 record this weekend where both of their victories were by a commanding number. Their only loss came by 2 to West Nottingham.
