Here are some of the top stock-risers from the weekend. Some of these prospects are already highly respected, but they still had monster weekends that elevated them in the eyes of college coaches.

Foster set the tone for the weekend right away with the most attended 10:00 a.m. game on Friday morning. In a battle between two Top 5 Class 2A teams, also featuring two highly ranked Class of 2028 prospects, Foster really caught the attention of those in attendance. The versatile 6'5" wing established himself as one of the best defenders in the state of Indiana while also scoring a game-high 22 points. It will be interesting to see where his recruitment goes through the month of July.

There are a lot of solid, under-the-radar prospects at Zionsville that will make them a formidable opponent for a lot of teams across the Indianapolis area this coming season. Gore had a very good weekend which included making seven three-point shots and scoring 31 points against Terre Haute North and then pouring in 27 points against Liberty Christian. His perimeter shooting ability should continue to attract the attention of college coaches.

The transition from University to Carmel appears to be a pretty smooth one for Henderson at this point. He has fit into their lineup nicely as a floor stretcher. Henderson, a 6'6" wing/forward, shot it well throughout the weekend at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. He is also a willing rebounder and versatile defender. The rising senior prospect is a very intriguing long-term prospect to track.

Bedford North Lawrence could be a vastly improved team in 2026-2027. There are a few talented pieces to watch, but Kern is the head of the snake. He serves as the primary playmaker and also shoots it very well from three-point range. The athletic guard averaged 21.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 12-17 (70.6%) from three-point range in four games.

We highlighted Homestead prior to the Charlie Hughes Showcase as one of the four primary state title contenders in Class 4A this season. They certainly proved us right over the course of the weekend. LaCross, a transfer from Blackhawk Christian, is a big part of why they are legitimate contenders now. The talented 6'4" rising junior guard averaged 22.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

We did not get the chance to see Bishop Luers in person at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. However, they went 4-0 on the weekend with this 5'10" rising junior point guard leading the way. By all accounts he had an excellent weekend which doesn't surprise us at all based on what we know about him. Szaferski averaged 23.0 points per game including a 35-point outburst with seven three-point shots against Martinsville.

Arguably the Most Valuable Player of the weekend, Welker was absolutely the talk of day one at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. Then, he backed it up with 22 points and a game-winner against one of the most talented teams in the state on Saturday. Welker went off for 37 points against defending Class 4A State Runner-Up Crown Point in the first contest of the weekend. He went on to average 25.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game while adding several Division I offers.

This could be a bit of transition year for Crown Point. After reaching the Class 4A State Championship game last season they were hit hard by graduation. Wilson Jr. returns as a key piece from that team, but will now step into the go-to role while everyone else will fill entirely new, and bigger, roles well. The athletic 6'5" wing had a great weekend individually really proving himself as a Division I prospect with a ton of upside. He averaged 19.9 points per game.
