<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your subscription***</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops Illinois has released our latest 2027 Prospect Rankings heading into the June live periods.&nbsp; Here is a look at the <strong>Top 2027 Post Prospects </strong>in Illinois!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323620' first='Ed' last='Stasys'] (Benet)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stasys moves up to #3 overall and the top ranked post in the 2027 class.&nbsp; In a class that doesn't have the highest level talent you are looking for guys that do one thing special.&nbsp; He rebounds at a very high level game in and game out!&nbsp; Well built power forward is a tenacious rebounder snatching them in bunches with his strength and athleticism.&nbsp; Impactful defender as a tough post defender, shot blocker, and can switch a little.&nbsp; Offensively he has touch and feel scoring around the hoop.&nbsp; Quick to the glass for second chance points and is a big time rim runner that will be a lob threat at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125634' first='Hayden' last='Schroeder'] (Wheaton Academy)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schroeder is a skilled four man that has been toward the top of this class since they first entered high school.&nbsp; You are buying the skill level with the big man who can score on the block with quick moves and sound footwork.&nbsp; Touch around the cup while also being able to deck it facing up and improving as a floor spacing shooter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2391672' first='Jeffrey' last='Hassan'] (Kaneland)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hassan is the premier post defender in the class.&nbsp; Long and uber athletic five man that is rim protector who can come from the weakside to swat shots into the fifth row.&nbsp; Can also be effective guarding straight up walling up and making it difficult for opponents to score against him.&nbsp; Offensively he is best utilized finishing out of the dunker, running the floor, and as a lob threat.&nbsp; Does flash some post moves on occasion and has improved there.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323618' first='Alex' last='Sirbu'] (Buffalo Grove)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sirbu flew up the board with a strong spring.&nbsp; Dominant showing at Chi-Town Tip off where he took advantage of his size with positioning and skill down low.&nbsp; Hook shots, spins, sweeping finishes, and threw down the hammer when he needed.&nbsp; Excellent rebounder that grabs them at the high point along with being a rim protector.&nbsp; Improved his athleticism and as a rim runner.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125658' first='Kendall' last='Meyers'] (Marist)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Meyers will be the only remaining key piece from Marist's state title team.&nbsp; What we love about Meyers is how he operates as a playmaking four with his passing and high basketball IQ.&nbsp; Can stretch the floor with his shooting and put it on the deck on occasion.&nbsp; Going to be the go to guy for the defending champs!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2839876' first='Ryan' last='Dinnon'] (Andrew)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dinnon is a prospect we think is very over looked right now in the process.&nbsp; He is a four man with strength and size that can flat out shoot it from three!&nbsp; One of the better shooting posts in the class draining them at a high rate from beyond the arc.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
