<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your subscription***</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops Illinois has released our latest 2027 Prospect Rankings heading into the June live periods.&nbsp; Here is a look at the <strong>Top 2027 Point Guards </strong>in Illinois!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'] (Warren)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Davis remains the clear #1 prospect in the state and as long as he stays in state the race is over for the top spot until the end of his career.&nbsp; The Warren lefty point guard is a flat out winner and leader.&nbsp; High level shot maker both off the dribble and bounce.&nbsp; Takes and makes shots from a variety of angles along with crafty finishes around the hoop.&nbsp; Makes those around him better with his passing and overall leadership.&nbsp; Pesky on ball defender that gets steals.&nbsp; Davis will be an All-American in college and the lucky team that gets him will rack up a ton of wins!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2406554' first='KJ' last='Miller'] (Plainfield East)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Long and rangy combo guard with such a smooth game.&nbsp; The positional size really jumps out as an on ball player.&nbsp; Has excellent playmaking feel with the ability to continue to get even better in that area.&nbsp; Explosive in transition with his long strides and finishing above the rim.&nbsp; Capable three point shooter and has big time upside as a perimeter defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2712818' first='Deven' last='Marshall'] (Rock Island)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Marshall is an athletic combo guard who plays off his explosiveness and burst.&nbsp; I think his biggest value is in his versatility and impacting the game in a variety of ways at the next level.&nbsp; Microwave scorer that can really heat up as he had several huge games last season.&nbsp; Connective passer, quality defender, and should be able to fit in a variety of lineups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2125687' first='Travis' last='Brown'] (West Aurora)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brown is one of the fastest players in the state!&nbsp; Pure speed as he might be the fastest player end to end in the class.&nbsp; When he turns on the burners it is over!&nbsp; Such a creative finisher around the hoop with crafty layups.&nbsp; Smooth ball handler that can create off the bounce for himself and others.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2425956' first='Perry' last='Tchiegne'] (Benet)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rangy utility guard played the role we feel he fits best in college this past season for Benet.&nbsp; So versatile being able to be a high level perimeter defender checking multiple spots while making impactful defensive plays.&nbsp; Slick ball handler that can hit holes in the defense for scores in the paint and is an outstanding passer!&nbsp; Going to be a quality utility guard at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Cole Dubois (East Peoria)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dubois will have to take his game to an even higher level with Kitt's transfer out of state to prep school.&nbsp; He showed his toughness late in the season essentially playing with one hand while still scoring and dishing at will in the playoffs.&nbsp; Plus shot maker with range to well beyond the three point arc.&nbsp; Creative ball handler that has a sweet soft touch finishing game.&nbsp; Like his passing instincts and feel for the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
