2027 Rankings Update: Biggest Movers

This particular update has seen a lot of movement all the way through the rankings. With so many players coming back to Kentucky or moving into the rankings for the first time, there have also been quite a few players who have moved up through the rankings. Here's a look at some of our biggest movers in this update.    Pablo climbs from 28th to 14th in this update and recently earned his first 2 D1 offers. A physical force with a good motor, Molima is a good rebounder who continues to improve his offensive game every time I see him play. Now comfortable ripping and attacking the rim, the sky is the limit for Pablo as a prospect if he can continue to stretch his offensive game out past the three point line in the future.     One of the key cogs for the state champions, Johnson moves up from 27th to 19th in this update. JaMylyn has also inherited the title of "highest ranked player in the class without a D1 offer". That could change soon if the guard has a good July of AAU. With his ability to play on or off the ball on offense along with being a tenacious defender, JaMylyn checks a lot of boxes that coaches look for.     Probably the highest individual mover in this update. Cleaver goes from 102 to 31 in this update and is a good player to bet on, long term. Blessed with a big wingspan and some natural skills, Michael is starting to "figure it out" for North Hardin and is in position to make a big impact in his Senior season. Cleaver is the type of prospect who goes the Juco route out of high school then becomes a highly sought after prospect over his Juco career.     The fastest rising big man in the class, Brecount goes up from 91st to 40th in this Senior group. Patiently waiting his turn at Covington Catholic for the last 3 years, John has developed his game and worked to improve his overall athleticism to the point where is an above the rim finisher on offense. Along with the improved athleticism, Brecount has become a more reliable defender and earned his first college offer recently.     Previously known more for his abilities on the football field than on the hardwood, Ashton has had a big summer and moves up from 83rd to 61st in this update. Pflugner should fit in the Catholic lineup right away as a bigger version of what they just had in Hank Woodall. Ashton is a good athlete who is comfortable finishing around the rim over either shoulder and has the toughness you'd expect from a player being recruited as a tight end by multiple D1 schools.
