The [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'] 2027 group has dominated the EYCL circuit and that's allowed a few of their prospects to catch the eyes of Division I programs. Scholl might be the highest upside prospect on the team as the stretch forward is an ELITE shooter. Colleges are always looking for floor spacers and Scholl does that at his size better than basically everybody in Ohio. While he still needs some time to add strength in the weight room, Scholl has the potential to be an impact starter at the Division I level if he can fill out his frame. Scholl picked up an offer from Miami (OH) back in February and should add to that list in June with Big Walnut.

An example of what low to mid major programs want their forwards to look like, McCanna has taken a massive leap since I first watched him play at Western Reserve Academy and seems to be set to take off during his post grad year with the program. McCanna is physical, can clear out space in the paint to catch or provide room for guards to drive, is skilled enough to run DHO actions through him and sets strong screens in the pick and roll. A big man who will be ready to compete physically at the Division I level, I had multiple college coaches mention how they liked McCanna last weekend during the live period and were excited to continue to follow him throughout the summer.

One of the biggest stock risers on the Made Hoops Circuit this spring, Brinager physically looks the part of a potential Division I prospect. The way Brinager moves with the ball in his hands, his frame and his athleticism all point to a prospect who is going to be fought hard for by top Division II programs who hope he slips through the cracks at the low major level. Brinager had a monster weekend at the Bill Hensley Run N Slam and also helped his team get some marquee wins during the live period on the Made Hoops Circuit. Athletes of Brinager's level don't come around the southeast district very often as he'll look to lead Southern to the final four next season.

The Newark guard had a tremendous high school season and has continued his rise during the grassroots season. Brooks is an elite perimeter shooter and defends at a high level on the perimeter. That combination of skills is so valuable at the next level and you know any player that goes through the Newark high school system will be tough and know how to play. Brooks skills makes him an easy evaluation for regional scholarship programs as I expect Division II and NAIA schools to make him a priority as the summer continues.

One of the elite shooters in Ohio, Waters has been producing at the high school varsity and 17 U grassroots level for a long time now. In his second run with Ohio Champion 17 U on the Ua Rise circuit, Waters had some big performances during the live period with 33 points in a win over Fundamental U to help his team go 3-1 during the weekend. To me Waters is another prospect who should be a no brainer for regional scholarship programs as Division II and NAIA programs should be all over Waters this summer.
