It's rare to find small town talent standing at 6'9 but nearby Arlington just graduated star Calvin Willow and this year it is Mosier who towers over the rest or rural northwest Ohio. As a junior, Mosier commanded the paint for Sherwood Fairview with nine points, seven rebounds and four blocks a contest. Mosier's rim protection is by far his best skill right now but he's also able to scoop up offensive rebounds for extra possessions. Fairview went from nine to 14 wins last season and could eclipse that number this year if Mosier has a big year in the paint. Another small college target to watch from NW Ohio on the GBL circuit.

A prospect who has been on our radar for a while thanks to his performances with Whitmer, with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'] and at the Toledo Top 64, Johnson is an athletic forward who wants to play above the rim in transition, off cuts and offensive rebounds. Johnson has been a standout for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'] White 17 U team that has a handful of small college targets from northwest Ohio. I could see Johnson having a breakout senior season for a Whitmer squad that will need him to be an experienced leader.

A prospect I discovered on the Prep Hoops Circuit a few weeks ago, Owens was incredibly productive as an interior scorer and rebounder. Early in the high school season, Owens had his breakout game against Warren JFK as he made a 3-pointer with less than 10 seconds left to win the game. Owens won the Canton Rep boys high school athlete of the week after that performance. Owens was also named to the OHSAA Division VI all-state honorable mention after scoring just over 15 PPG as a junior. His production on the interior and a scorer and rebounder make him one of the top rising seniors in Stark county and earned him a spot on this list.

I watched SMAC at the Bill Hensley Run N Slam early in the morning on Sunday and Jones was simply outworking the opposition. Usually those evaluation settings show who really wants to play no matter the time, location or opponent and Jones motor allowed him to find success as a rebounder and interior scorer. A multi-sport athlete at Kent Roosevelt, Jones has the athletic ability to transition from sport to sport and not skip a beat.

I really enjoyed watching the Ohio Saints this spring as their ball movement and unselfish style of play allowed them to beat some teams with more talent than they have. Craig is a lefty wing forward from Westfall who was named to the all-conference team in the SVC after his junior season. Giving a bit of Steele Meister vibes as a player, Craig has the same downhill lefty slashing style of play that Meister was so successful for Newark and Findlay with. I'm high on Craig's feel for the game because it seems like everybody who plays for the Ohio Saints knows how to play.
