[program_tooltip program_id='2078657' first='Shining' last='Star'] Price is a program who always has talent from the greater Cincinnati and northern Kentucky areas. Fuersich might be the most intriguing prospect on their 17 U team as the Ross big man was named honorable mention all-state and first team all SWBL after scoring 15 PPG as a junior. Fuersich has a wide frame that allows him to gain interior position and bang down low on both ends of the court. I'd imagine Fuersich gets similar college interest to Steven Rude, a guy who put up identical rebounding numbers in the same conference but Fuersich was better as a scorer where Rude was better as a shot blocker. Both impressive talents out of the SWBL southwestern Division.

Garfield Heights is always going to have long, rangy and athletic forwards who play hard, crash the glass and want to dunk on your head. A player with a lot of natural ability on the hardwood, Jones has flashed some quick ball handling moves and has the explosiveness to rise up past a defender once he gets a step. Garfield Heights will have a new look team next season but Jones could be a breakout candidate as a senior for the Bulldogs.

Brush has been one of the top programs in northeast Ohio for developing players into impact college basketball contributors and Smith Jr could be the next in line to shine under the development of Chet Mason. Smith Jr has a strong frame, rebounds the ball well and had a highlight reel dunk against Bedford in the winter. If Smith Jr can flash some more scoring ability, he has a chance to rise up these rankings as a senior.

There's few teams in southeast Ohio who physically look like Chillicothe in warmups. The amount of size, length and athleticism the Cavaliers have makes them look like a Division I team. Netter is the biggest and most explosive athlete for Chillicothe. Still figuring out how to play, the lefty Netter had some bright flashes as a shot blocker and rim runner. Bigs take the longest to make an impact at the varsity level and adjust to their height so I wouldn't be surprised if Netter makes a big jump in production from junior to senior year. Talented name to monitor from southeast Ohio!

The second OBC forward on this list, Berwick had a big season for a CVCA squad that won a district title. Berwick's combination of length, quick feet, a high motor and basketball IQ makes him an impressive defender. Berwick's versatility allows him to defend multiple positions and on multiple areas on the court. While I've seen Berwick at the grassroots level, I'd be intrigued by what he looks like at the high school level as a more featured offensive piece.
