I was really impressed with the strides Ziegler showed me back in May. A prospect who I saw early in his sophomore season and was intrigued by, Ziegler has grown, put on good weight and muscle while also improving as a shot creator. That combination of skills and his production this grassroots season made him as easy choice as a stock riser during this rankings update to sneak into the top 100.

Pickerington Central made a Cinderella run to the final four with Moore III as a major stock riser throughout the tournament. A two guard who takes long strides on drives, attacks closeouts and can score at the rim or make the extra pass to a shooter. Moore's length also gives him defensive upside as he's continued to improve each time I watch him play at both ends of the court. Moore III looks like a priority small college target in central Ohio's 2027 class and a prospect who should have a busy summer ahead of him.

The second Chillicothe prospect to make waves in this rankings update, Cox was a player I saw in the district final against Steubenville and was impressed with his ball handling for his size, slashing ability and athleticism. A dynamic athlete from the wing, Cox can play on or off the ball and thrives in transition. Chillicothe returns a talented and deep 2027 class as they could be the best team in the southeast district next season.

A state champion, Williams had a monster playoff run as the combo guard provided excellent value for Massillon all season long. An explosive athlete off two feet, Williams can play above the rim at both ends of the court with his blocked shots helping swing the state title game. I like Williams low center of gravity on drives that when combined with his explosiveness makes him a very tough undersized guard to stop from scoring at the rim. Massillon has a strong core returning next season so they should be looking to defend their title next season.

Not the most conventional looking game on the court but you cannot deny the production McGraw has whether he's playing with Kettering Fairmont or 937 Hoop Dreams. The leading scorer and rebounder in the GWOC has an extremely high feel for the game and is incredibly active. McGraw's efficiency is also remarkable for a player of his size and shot volume. I'll be curious to see in what statistical areas McGraw can improve on from junior to senior season for Kettering Fairmont. McGraw should be a priority target for regional small college programs.

One of the elite shooters in central Ohio's 2027 class, Guth has had some huge perimeter shooting performances against top competition this spring. Able to hit shots over strong contests and even when the defense tries to run him off the line, Guth hits some shots that make the defense toss their hands in the air in disbelief. Now looking forward to June ball with Dublin Coffman, I expect them to be one of the top teams in central Ohio with a balanced roster filled with size, athletes and shooters like Guth. Expect to hear a lot more about Dublin Coffman during this class of 2027's senior season!
