The PH Great Lakes Finals brought out some of the region's top emerging talent. With championships on the line, several prospects elevated their play and carried the scoring load for their respective squads. From explosive downhill slashers to elite perimeter marksmen, these five players put on an absolute show.

Here is a look at the top scoring threats from the weekend:

[player_tooltip player_id='2194986' first='Jashawn' last='Coffey'] | Phenom United 2028

Coffey was hands down the most productive scorer of the entire weekend, putting up massive numbers in just three games. Built like a powerhouse, the strong-framed guard brings an element of raw physicality to the backcourt that defenders simply couldn't handle. He is an explosive, powerful downhill slasher who loves getting into the heart of the defense, yet he couples that brute force with an advanced basketball IQ. Coffey does an excellent job of reading his defender and varying his attack based on the matchup. Factor in his ability to stretch the floor and knock down the three-ball at a high clip, and you have one of the toughest covers of the tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2675420' first='Quinn' last='Carroll'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves'] 2029

There is an immense amount to like about Carroll's upside. At 6'1", the Wolves guard is already proving to be one of the most skilled and high-IQ players in his class. He seamlessly rotated between playing on and off the ball, making an impact wherever he was stationed. Carroll is an exceptional shooter from beyond the arc, showcasing pure, smooth mechanics and tremendous shot preparation that allows him to trigger quickly. Beyond his elite catch-and-shoot game, he handles the rock with poise—scoring off the bounce with slick layups—and moves intelligently without the ball to find easy cuts. Add in his sharp vision as a passer, and he is a complete offensive weapon.

[player_tooltip player_id='2369925' first='Evan' last='Lemons'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves'] 2029

Lemons turned in a dominant performance this weekend, cementing himself as one of the most well-rounded scoring threats in the 2029 class. He was a terror in the open floor, using his elite speed to press the issue and routinely playing above the rim in transition. When the game slowed down, Lemons was just as effective, attacking aggressively off the bounce with quick, decisive drives. What makes him special is his dual-threat ability; he mixed in some high-level playmaking, including a beautiful skip pass to an open shooter. With his physical tools, he also projects as a high-upside defender who can lock down multiple spots on the perimeter, highlighted by an impressive swat of a jumper this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632058' first='Karon' last='Shavers'] | Geek Squad 2027

With Geek Squad missing several key pieces this weekend, Shavers was asked to shoulder a much heavier scoring load than his usual playmaking role—and he delivered. The 5'11" guard showed off his three-level scoring capability, consistently finishing through traffic around the basket, pulling up for crisp mid-range jumpers, and stretching the floor with a couple of triples. Shavers is primed for a massive senior season at Leo High School, and his standout play this spring proves he is ready to be a primary option when his team needs a bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125671' first='Nojus' last='Venckus'] | [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 2027

While local scouts might be used to seeing his brother, Nedas, play the role of the primary aggressor, Nojus completely flipped the script this weekend. Stepping up as [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last='']'s primary scoring option, the long, athletic, and highly skilled guard played with an enviable level of composure. Venckus kept defenders off balance all weekend with a lethal pump-fake, routinely using it to freeze his man before stepping into a smooth, automatic jumper from the free-throw line. He was equally effective creating his own shot off the dribble. When his team needed a spark, Venckus rattled off a string of consecutive buckets that completely blew the game open in an eye-opening weekend performance.
