With four years of varsity experience under his belt already, KJ has the skill and poise to make the 16u game look so easy at times. He just seems to be operating at a different pace on the ball, effortlessly gliding to the rim for finishes or creating separation for a pull-up three. He's an unselfish player, but shows no hesitation putting up a shot when he has space, and KJ is the level of shooter that has a constant green light from his coaches. Helped lead his team to a win over a tough [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'] squad on night one.

Jayden missed a good chunk of his sophomore season with an injury, but is back hooping at a high level this spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy']. Despite being listed at 6', Jayden looks a bit longer than his height, and uses that long frame to extend and finish around shot blockers around the basket. He scored immediately off the opening tip, and didn't slow down much from there as he put up 15 points in game one. Knocked down three jumpers and showed the change of speed needed to create off the dribble against high level athletes on [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'].

Jamir continues to show improvements in his perimeter game for [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. He's always excelled as a slasher with his quick burst and explosiveness around the rim, and he certainly showed that last night, but he continues to improve as a shooter as well. Jamir is showing more confidence in his outside shot, not hesitating for a second when allowed to catch in space from three. Defensively he has great instincts to jump passing lanes for steals, and was able to showcase his bounce with a pair of dunks last night in a win over [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'].

Ben was one of the best prospects on the floor last night against [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. At 6'6 he moves and handles the ball in a way not many guys his size can, playing some point-forward at times for [program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy']. He has some wiggle on the ball to beat defenders off the dribble, able to get all the way to the rim and use his length to finish, or stop on a dime for a mid-range jumper. Developing into a three level scoring threat with a projectable frame for the next level.

Grant continues to show why he's one of the best passers in Minnesota's 2028 class. Running with [program_tooltip program_id='2076033' first='Wisconsin' last='Playmakers'] 16u, if one of his teammates found some space, Grant was going to locate them with an accurate pass. It didn't matter if he was dumping it off in transition, driving and kicking, and zipping over a cross-court pass, Grant excelled at getting his teammates good looks last night. A guard to know in Minnesota's 2028 class.

Last night was my first time seeing Sully play in-person, and he certainly impressed. At 6'9 Sully combines strength, explosiveness, and skill making him a versatile forward. He's so dangerous catching out of the high post as he can beat opposing bigs off one dribble, or drop a dime to a cutting teammate. Impressive vision to spot a gap and lead his teammate perfectly to the rim. Sully can go to work with his back to the basket, and without the ball is constantly making hard cuts looking to get high percentage looks around the rim. Outside shot wasn't falling last night, but he still managed to hit one three in the win for Team Warwick.

Malachi was all over the place making plays for [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 17u on night one. It started with his defense, as he was constantly picking up full-court and pressuring opposing guards the length of the floor. Within the first few minutes of the game Malachi had already racked up two steals, a pull-up jumper, a transition finish, and an assist that led to an alley-oop dunk. Malachi is a competitor who simply wants to go out and make winning plays, and that's exactly what he did last night against [program_tooltip program_id='2078394' first='Team' last='1848'].
