Kicked the morning off at 8 AM with [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 57-30 win which was dominated by a trio from central Illinois. After not seeing him on Saturday it was a pleasant surprise to see the highly ranked Metamora wing on Sunday. Strong bodied, skilled, and productive wing that can really shoot it from three, box out on boards, and wall up defensively. He had 15 points. Peoria High 2028 wing [player_tooltip player_id='2963387' first='JJ' last='Duffin'] had a strong showing playing off his athleticism in the open floor. Excellent in transition long with slick takes off the bounce as he had 12 points. Richwoods top ranked 2028 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2531961' first='Amarion' last='Smith-Holley'] continued to show his special burst and handles, pull up shot from beyond the arc, and on the money passing. Their big man duo of [player_tooltip player_id='2834463' first='Amari' last='Williams'] (Shepard) and [player_tooltip player_id='2384522' first='Elijah' last='Shim'] (Lindblom) did a nice job competing on the glass, defending in the paint, and scoring when opportunities presented themselves. Evanston combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2531970' first='Ben' last='Ojala'] is such a connective piece along with his plus shooting from beyond the arc.

East St. Louis wing [player_tooltip player_id='3576059' first='Emurion' last='Jackson'] impacted on both ends with what he did defensively, rebounding in traffic, and playing above the rim. Keon Griffin is an athletic three and D wing that shot it well for 10 points while Jeremiah Harrington brought a lot of intangibles in a 10 point outing as well.

Rochelle big man [player_tooltip player_id='2779481' first='Warren' last='Schweitzer'] went to work inside early and often.
