Not the best game from the state of Illinois’ top player, but he still managed to produce 15 points (6-20 FG) in their loss to the Georgia Stars. Also grabbed 5 rebounds and had 3 steals. The jumper wasn’t falling in this game for Pettigrew and missed some shots in the paint he usually finishes. The athleticism in the open floor showed on a couple of transition finishes along with mixing in floaters in the paint.

Fighting through a foot injury from Nike Elite 100 Pettigrew played through it with inspired basketball! The top ranked prospect in the 2028 prospect dropped 26 points against Buffalo Grove looking like their was no injury at all. He was as explosive as we have seen him with his scoring off the bounce as he got to the cup absolutely at will with an array of moves including multiple behind the back layups. It was a complete show for the five-star prospect.

In a little over one half of play vs Neuqua Valley he absolutely looked like a five star prospect. The Bolingbrook two guard was lethal scoring in every way possible. Straight line takes blowing past defenders like they were statues. Cross overs shaking defenders out of their shoes for finishes at the cup. Crisp pullup jumpers in the mid-range along with creating off the bounce for threes. Caught a sick lob dunk and got to his spots pretty much at will.

‘s performances left a lasting impression with a 29 point game against East St. Louis and 25 points vs. Neuqua Valley. He showed both a swagger and a maturity to his game, commanding double and sometimes even triple teams by East St. Louis’ squad to slow him down. With multiple steals, thundering dunks, a silky smooth jumpshot, and advanced basketball IQ, Pettigrew proved time and again at this tournament that he’s a player to watch.

Brady, a five-star sophomore prospect out of Chicago, showed off his full skillset in front of a huge crowd in Milwaukee. The 6’3” guard can do it all offensively, being one of the most skilled prospects in the 2028 class nationally. He is a sniper from beyond the arc, being a major threat to pull up off the dribble. Pettigrew can also jump out of the gym, throwing down some high flying dunks in the open floor.
