About Brady
Expert Analysis
Jack Pfeiffer | Prep Hoops Scout
Brady, a five-star sophomore prospect out of Chicago, showed off his full skillset in front of a huge crowd in Milwaukee. The 6’3” guard can do it all offensively, being one of the most skilled prospects in the 2028 class nationally. He is a sniper from beyond the arc, being a major threat to pull up off the dribble. Pettigrew can also jump out of the gym, throwing down some high flying dunks in the open floor.

Another prospect who had his best day of the weekend by far, Pettigrew was knocking down shots off the catch early and often on Sunday morning. With his feet set Pettigrew usually knocks down shots off the catch. I also liked that Pettigrew made quick one to two dribble moves to get to his spots. Pettigrew was also running the floor and helping push the pace for his team. I liked that Pettigrew played with some confidence on the final day of the weekend as Chicago area prospects all had bright moments this weekend.

Pettigrew came out firing as the sophomore star connected on a trio of threes to begin the game. He was very confident hunting his shot and poured them in from distance in the early going. He then was assertive getting downhill for scores in the paint. Tough finishes in traffic, got to the line, score on a baseline out of bounds play, and threw down multiple massive dunks in both the half court as well as transition. Also liked what he showed as a passer making sound reads when opportunities presented themselves. Defended at a very high level against Martin who runs all over the floor trying to get open. He had 23 points.

Pettigrew is the top prospect in the state of Illinois in the sophomore class. Two guard is at his best attacking off the bounce with creative handles getting in the lane for reverse layups, floaters, and getting loose in transition. Poured in a tough pull up three in the 16 point outing.
