Versatile guard that will slide into a 1 or 2 man at the next level. Caught him in action during early morning Sunday game and impacted as both a scorer and facilitator against zone defense. Knocked down catch and shoot threes, added a smooth mid range jumper, and showed poise and touch for an and1 runner and floater off the bounce. Has advanced feel as a passer including kick outs after drawing plus 1 defenders and threading the needle to open guys on the baseline. Picked up defensive activity in the second half to initiate break. Finished with a quiet 20+ plus point performance.

Trent Had a day for the Sharks Basketball Academy in the 16U scene. The defense never knew what was coming, rather that was a spot up three or a drive-by for an easy layup. He made contested layup time and time again. He was able to finish through contact and consistently cash in at the line. He was also an absolute pogo stick on the glass consistently getting second chance buckets. I would have to give Trent my performance of the day as he finished with 43 against against Common Bond 16U team. He followed that up with a 40 piece against High Hoops 16U team. 83 in 2 games. Incredible.

. Williams is someone that can really do it all right now at his age level. He can bring up the ball and run offense, he can step out and screen the perimeter into a roll to the hoop, or he can post up on the block and score over other athletes. This weekend I saw Williams do his thing and play his game at a high rate. Most of the time, his team’s offense was running through him in one way or another. As long as he tightens up everything and becomes great at doing somethings on the hardwood, he is going to be a tough player to guard as he gets older. He knows what a mismatch is and is very quick to exploit them, every chance he gets. His progression will be a major key but up until this point, he is someone to keep an eye on out of this area.
