#37) [player_tooltip player_id='2470573' first='Cam' last='Claiborne'] | 5'11” PG | Petersburg

Claiborne may not have been the biggest named recruit, but he played a huge role for Petersburg in their run to the VHSL Class 3 State Championship, and this summer he'll have a chance to get college coaches on his radar too. While he's only 5'11” he's a highly skilled and poised guard who can break down defenders and touch the paint at will, he can score the ball from all three levels and is a very crafty finisher around the rim, he has great feel and instincts on both ends of the floor, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win.

#78) [player_tooltip player_id='2966558' first='Shamir' last='Williams'] | 6'1” CG | LC Bird

Williams was the breakout player in Chesterfield this past season, as he was the leading scorer for a good Bird team that surprised a lot of people, particularly because of him. He is a very good shotmaker who has a quick release and a lot of confidence in his ability to knock it down from deep, he moves well off the ball and can set his feet and make shots on the move, he is a good secondary ball handler who can create off the bounce in isolation, and he is a good defender particularly in the press.

#81) [player_tooltip player_id='2898028' first='Joel' last='Nicholson'] | 6'2” PG | Hanover

Nicholson had a great junior season for Hanover, and he's one of the more underrated players in the Richmond area with his ability to impact the game across the board at the lead guard position. He has great size and long arms at the point guard position allowing him to get deflections and challenge shots defensively, he plays with great pace and can control the tempo, he gets downhill and is a good finisher at the rim and in the middle areas, and he can make others on his team better too.

#93) [player_tooltip player_id='2815342' first='Larry' last='Walker'] | 6'1” PG | Petersburg

Walker was one of the few players that played for Petersburg as a sophomore to return for the state championship group this year, and he showed a lot of improvement in that time to where he played a huge role for them this year. The 6'1” guard is lightning quick off the bounce and is a fluid athlete who thrives in the open floor, he can make shots from multiple levels and create space in isolation, he is a pesky on ball defender and has good hands to get deflections and steals, and he can get hot quickly and fill it up in bunches.

#101) [player_tooltip player_id='2898023' first='Christian' last='Tabb'] | 6'2” CG | Richmond Christian

Tabb was one of the top scoring guards in the Richmond area after transferring to Richmond Christian this past season, and when it comes to raw talent and upside he's one of the best in RVA with that. He's a super talented scoring guard who thrives in transition with his speed and athleticism as a finisher, he can create space off the bounce and make tough shots from multiple levels, he can move off the ball and knock down shots off the catch, and he is a good rebounder and defender at his position too.

#109) [player_tooltip player_id='2624544' first='Chris' last='Lamm'] | 6'0” PG | Benedictine

Lamm is one of the more underrated guards in the Richmond area, as he's a throwback floor general type of guy that can make everyone on his team better. He controls the game with his understanding of how to control tempo and play at different speeds, he has great vision and can make passes others simply can't make, he picks his spots and scores it efficiently from multiple levels, and he brings toughness and leadership every time he's on the floor.
