Hunter continued to show flashes of his potential at 6'10. The junior big man showcased his mobility that helped him slide into positions to contest around the rim, and consistently beat opposing bigs up the floor in transition. He handles the ball well at his size, and showed comfort taking a defensive rebound and putting the ball on the floor to initiate the break on his own. When matched up against another 6'10 big on Sunday Hunter showed he can create his own shots off the dribble. In the two games I watched he hit a number of threes and worked hard on the offensive glass for second chance buckets.

[player_tooltip player_id='3510466' first='Laviance' last='Gales'] has a combination of strength and athleticism that helps him play a bit bigger than his listed 6'4 height. He's a gritty and hard working forward who's not afraid to play through some contact down low. He was a monster on the glass this weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2422572' first='D1' last='Minnesota Gold'], and was relentless hunting down offensive rebounds for second chance points. Quick second leap helps him go right back up with an offensive board for two points. Runs the floor hard in transition, finishes through contact, and competes on the defensive end.

Kobby was bullying defenders in the paint all weekend long. Pairing with [player_tooltip player_id='2417301' first='Hunter' last='Vinkemeier'] to form one of the best frontcourt duos in the state, opposing teams were left to pick their poison. Most teams just don't have two players big and strong enough to deal with both of them, and Kobby was able to go at his mismatch in the paint. He could catch on the block and score off a drop-step + power dribble, he could slash/roll to the hoop and finish on the move, or he could step in from the dunker spot and explode off the floor to finish. Put in two impressive performances in the games I watched.

Derek had some nice moments on Saturday night with his [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] team. At 6'5 he has a strong frame and an imposing wing-span that helps him control the glass, and allows him to defend a number of spots. He's comfortable defending on the block against size, and can also step out onto the wing and use his length to get up in passing lanes. When I've seen him in the past he was mostly a rebounder and clean-up finisher inside, but he showed flashes of an expanded offensive game. Derek stepped out to hit an open three, and shortly after drove in from the wing and finished with touch over the top of a defender.

Briggs flashed the type of shooting touch you rarely see in guys 6'8-6'9. You could argue he's the best three point shooter on [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] this season, and it showed with his performances over the weekend. Particularly against Chapman Academy North, Briggs had defenders chasing him all over the perimeter and he just found ways to get into pockets of space and connect from three. Comfortable catching on the move and quickly getting squared up to get his shot off.

Though still a very raw prospect, you can't teach Domanic's physical tools. He's a long and lanky 6'9 big with good mobility at his size. Rasberry gets up and down the floor with ease, and is agile covering short distances to protect the rim or hedge screens defensively. On the offensive end he was at his best stepping in from the dunker spot to take dump-off passes and finish inside. Still has to work to add strength to compete at the next level, but he has some tools to work with moving forward.

Brady had no problem adjusting to the 17u level. With his Fury team playing up a year in Appleton, Brady played a key role helping lead them to a 3-1 record. He has some explosiveness off two feet which helps him as a shot blocker, and is dangerous as a pick & roll finisher. Brady is dangerous catching in the high post and facing up because he can hit the mid-range jumper, can beat opposing bigs with one dribble to the rim, and has the vision to deliver passes to cutting teammates. Athletic and versatile 6'5 forward.
