[player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] - Ann is the #2 in Minnesota in the 2027 class according to Prep Hoops and 24/7 Sports (64th nationally). The six-foot-four-inch junior from Maple Grove averaged 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals a game while making 51.7% of his shots overall. Ann shot 33.9% of 3-pointers while making 47 this season. Ann is good athlete and a player who's continuously improving each year, especially as a perimeter scorer while attacking the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126118' first='Tyler' last='Forrest'] - Forrest is a six-foot-three-inch Chaka guard that led his team to state and then a state title. Forrest makes an impact offensively without scoring as a true point guard. A guard who will bring the ball up the floor every possession. Forrest will also defend the opposing guard 94 feet, and not worry about getting switched off as he's a tough competitor, especially as a weakside shot blocking guard. Forrest upped his offensive scoring as a Junior going from 11 points per game to 18 and is showing improvement in his jump shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126117' first='Malachi' last='Hill'] - Hill is a five-foot-ten-inch junior guard from Totino-Grace. Hill has a quick first-step and gets into the paint before you know it and before this season if Hill was stopped before that paint touch he was passing out. HIll has made great strides as a jump shooter and that should surprise nobody as he's an excellent competitor. Hill is a hounding on-ball defender with quick hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2533408' first='Deon' last='Wallace-Johnson'] - Wallace-Johnson is a six-foot-three-inch guard from DeLaSalle that may have made the largest leap of any 2027 Minnesota high school player, figuratively and literally. Wallace-Johnson is so athletic that his leaping in the painted area for his size is unrivaled here. Wallace-Johnson's improvement as a ball handler has enabled him to get to the painted area at will and when he gets there he either finishes over players or quickly bounces past them with his hop-step move. At state against Totino-Grace Wallace-Johnson proved a bit he can make perimeter jumpers and a good improvement there could push him even higher.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126108' first='Jack' last='Thelen'] - Thelen is a 7-foot center from Maple Grove that has been nearly this tall since I first saw him at 14 playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2123709' first='MN' last='Rush']. Tall big players like Thelen usually take some time to figure stuff out and naturally Thelen did for a couple seasons. As a sophomore at STMA Thelen looked very capable and able as a defender that you like to see from a guy his size. Thelen took up space and closed space well, and he still does. He's a good volume rebounder and has shown improvement shooting from the perimeter and finishing around the rim. Thelen averaged 13 points, 9 rebounds and almost one block per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126115' first='Vincent' last='Cronin'] - Cronin is a six-foot-seven-inch junior wing from Edina that has battled injuries the last few high school seasons. This season Cronin got a full year under his belt and he didn't disappoint. Cronin averaged 20 points per game for the Hornets and really showcased his ability as a perimeter scorer, either shooting the 3-ball or putting the ball on the floor driving to the rim. Cronin is a good leaper and above the rim finisher and you always have to be aware of him off the ball backcutting.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436914' first='Kellen' last='Troup'] - Troup is a six-foot-eight-inch Minnehaha Academy wing that impressed mightily in the Class 2A Championship game. His 24 point and 9 rebound performance carried his Redhawks team to a state title. He showed patience and aggression as a dribble attacker from the wing and in the post around the rim using his size to his advantage while showing ability to shoot from the perimeter making four of six 3-pointers. Troupl averaged 19 points per game on the season for Minnehaha.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126447' first='Briggs' last='Sheridan'] - Sheridan is a six-foot-nine-inch flor stretching center from Farmington that you can never leave open on the perimeter. When guarded Sheridan has a polished face-up game that allows him to score as well. HIs size gives him a good advantage when faced with smaller defenders. Sheridan averaged 13.6 points per game for a well balanced Farmington team.
