AAU Roster Spotlight: Team Tradition 17U

With rosters being finalized now is a perfect time to start taking a look at as many Indiana-based teams as we can. For this spotlight, let's take a look at Team Tradition 17U. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2140419' first='Max' last='Vise']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/levi-lindeman/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Without question, the top player for this Team Tradition team is Mt. Vernon-Fortville big man [player_tooltip player_id='2140419' first='Max' last='Vise']. Vise is an Indiana Junior All-Star that will have everything run through him this team during the AAU season. Vise is one of the top rising players that we have in the state of Indiana and averaged 14.1 points and 5.4 rebound per game as a junior. Vise is a 6'8 center that is so impactful in the post with his  combination of mobility, paint scoring, high-level rebounding, and strong rim protection. Expect a dominant AAU season from Vise. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2470698' first='Brody' last='McLaughlin']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/carter-crum/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Many players could have been slotted here, but for this team one of the players with the highest amount of potential is junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2470698' first='Brody' last='McLaughlin'] of Silver Creek. As a junior, he averaged 5.9 points and 4.6 rebound per game and was just extremely well-balanced thought out the whole season. Now with Team Teadtion, McLaughlin has a chance to show a bit more of what he can do on the floor. He is a long prospect that is really good around the basket and can be such a mismatch of a player at times. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Other Roster Members</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2622190' first='Adler' last='Cole'] (Carmel) - [player_tooltip player_id='2622190' first='Adler' last='Cole'] is a under-the-radar guard from Carmel with good size at 6-foot-4. With a more increased role, he could be a player that raises his stock a little on this team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2140389' first='Jaxon' last='McKain'] (Boonville) - McKain is a 6'3 combo guard that has a combination of size and quickness makes him a tough cover for any player. A real versatile player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2414964' first='Owen' last='Peterson'] (Cathedral) - Peterson is a high motor power forward out of Cathedral that may be the player that plays the hardest on this team. The 6'4” forward from Cathedral High School has a big, strong frame but moves around very well and has impressive ball skills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2140435' first='Rylon' last='Gore'] (Zionsville) - A tough guard out of Ziosnville, Gore will be one of the top guards on this Team Tradition squad this AAU season. A 6'0, Gore is a point guard that is a shooting threat as soon as he steps onto the floor with ball handles to make a him an underrated playmaker as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2414734' first='Will' last='Hegwood'] (Roncalli) - Hegewood is a experienced guard that is also going to be one of the top backcourt options for this Team Tradition squad.
