I went back and reviewed games of the 15U division at Rocky Mountain Mayhem that I was not able to see in person and players jumped off the page for me. Here's a list of 2029s that caught my attention in April and are looking to have a big summer. Certainly on my radar and players I am intrigued by.

Rothe is going to be a very good player when it is all said and done, and he seems to be showing signs of growth since the last time that I saw him play. He was the best player this weekend for this Titans squad for me, as he excels in making others around him better. He handled pressure well and set up teammates for easy baskets while running. Rothe was generating some solid looks to where teammates just got to shoot it or score at the basket. He also got out in transition for some scoop layups. What I like about Rothe is how he pushes the tempo. He's a guard about pace, he scored with ease, and also showed footwork and a post-up game. He looked very balanced and is a 2029 that I am high on. Curious to see if it continues.

Jasper is a player who stands out for me because of his patience and ability to let the play develop. He has solid footwork, finished through contact and put defenders on his hip and went straight up. He rebounds, runs the floor, and passes it open teammates. The thing that really sticks out to me which separates him from anyone else at this grade is his positioning on the block. He passed it and got set, demanded the ball and rest on the block for some easy finishes and that's not something that you see at the 15U level. The game is going to slow down for him and he's going to be an elite post guy and it is fun to see it while it is still early.

Okeefe makes plays that let you know that he's a high-IQ standout. He was rejecting screens for iso scores, taking the screen to set up defenders, and scoring at the rim with strength. He also sets hard screens and cuts while using his size to overpower. Okeefe was getting to the FT line, got a couple of steals by just being in the right spot, and had a couple of high IQ passes where he showed off his vision to open slashing teammates. Okeefe has a balanced game where he was spinning off of players and finishing and filling it up when allowed to score, so he has to force more of those chances to show what he has. This was a big-time weekend for him as a guy that you put the ball in his hands and watch good things happen. I liked his left-hand finishes, his ability to get to the rim and footwork down low. He's a kid to follow.

Bosma is going to be a very good player when it all comes together, and he showed signs of that this weekend, which led to wins. He's strong, has excellent footwork on the block, and finishes well around the basket with either hand. He has a strong game where he grabs rebounds, moves his feet well defensively, and grabs boards to start the break. When he starts to understand his body, he's going to be a problem as he's such a force on the block, while being a willing passer with size and strength. Bosma had some and-1 finishes and had moments where he looked dominant this weekend. He's a player to watch.

Riggins is a player who stood out to me on the weekend due to his ability to just affect the game in multiple ways. He's a player who they put in the game to pick up the pace and make his mark in the game. He does it all. He was shooting, scoring at the basket, attacks, and plays hard the entire time, which you can rally behind. He had some stretches where teams had a difficult time with him, and he allowed his team to play freely. Defensively, he's all over the place, picking up full court, going for steals off switches, and when the 3-ball started falling, he became a real weapon for Premier. His athleticism and speed allow him to get where he wants, and he's a prospect who plays off instincts. Solid outing for him at Rocky Mountain Mayhem.
